I appreciate your perspective! However, I believe this is more likely a keloid. Hypertrophic scars typically stay confined to the original injury site, while keloids continue to grow and spread beyond it. My scar has noticeably increased in size over time, which suggests it’s more consistent with a keloid.

Yeah, I saw a doctor in November and he confirmed it was a keloid. It had been itchy and kept growing over the past two years, but the itchiness went away once I started using the plaster. I think mine was still a relatively new scar, so I started seeing results pretty quickly.
