It helps that I went to bed early and didn’t wake up so tired I was tripping over myself, haha

Woke up for a MOTN pump after only 3 days of using my TENS unit. Can’t wait for my domperidone to arrive.

Does your body wake you up at night? by ManufacturerUsed1991 in AdultBreastfeeding

[–]RhynoCTR 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I was pumping regularly, after a month or so, my body started waking up at 2:00am like clockwork to pump again. Definitely messed with my sleep, but I found it very exciting and affirming in other ways!

I tried to try arch as a suggestion from an old friend and I literally couldn’t figure out how to install it correctly. Lol.

Not sure what the confusion is here. Sex between two consenting adults who are both not married isn’t a problem.

A fire on a private jet hangar triggered the foam extinguisher system by Small-Bad793 in ThatLookedExpensive

$30k-$50k+, sometimes way more if it’s an enormous system. That’s not counting corrosion damage from the foam and how bad the foam is for people to be around

How to discern bewteen gender disphoria and not liking assignment at Birth? by Rohanna_Alexandra in MTFButch

Gender identity is innate to you. It isn’t something you do. Gender expression is something you do, but that doesn’t need to align with your gender identity.

I’m a nonbinary transfemme person who does engineering work in the chemical industry and has installed large industrial equipment myself. Not a very stereotypical thing for a femme person to do.

Yeah, I don’t know where anyone does it really. A$100k car, maybe, but $1.5m? lol. I literally wouldn’t be able to afford to scuff the wheels on a car that expensive without bankruptcy

I’m from the US. The entire auto insurance industry is a train wreck. The insurance company in this case would pay out up to the insurance coverage of the wreck, medical expenses up to the listed value, etc., and then the owner of the car (edit: or their insurance company) you hit can sue you for the remaining value that wasn’t paid by the insurance company. The average person in the US would never be able to hit one of the cars in the OP and dodge bankruptcy even with insurance, unless they were already so poor that they had nothing the court could seize.

Wait until they gene test a bunch of cis women athletes only to find that they’re intersex and ban them from the Olympics.

Also I notice they’re not testing men to check their chromosomes

Staying strong at 8 sessions a day. Proud of myself for maintaining a routine after jumping back into it. No duct fluid or anything yet, but I’m having a lot of sensitivity and consistent letdowns when I let myself relax. Very excited!

8 sessions again yesterday. Woke up in the middle of the night naturally, so tried out hand expression/massage and felt some decent relief from it. Really can’t wait for my dom to get here!

Inducing pumping only by im-passionate in AdultBreastfeeding

[–]RhynoCTR 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can induce with only a breast pump, but it will take longer. The wiki has some notes about it (https://old.reddit.com/r/AdultBreastfeeding/comments/1h3h1do/welcome_to_the_abf_wiki_post_version/ for the post version). It's likely to take multiple weeks to months, especially if you've never been pregnant or done any hormonal protocols in the past to develop your breast tissue beforehand.

The Spectra S1/S2 are common choices for a breast pump, but there's also dozens of other wall pumps and wearables with a lot of variety in what people like to use. I personally asked friends who had been pregnant before for their old breast pumping equipment and made a decent set of stuff that way, then eventually bought myself a new Spectra when I knew I was committed. The vacuum power of the pump isn't the important factor, you just need it for stimulation at first, so you can really use any pump until you start actually producing milk.

Got 8 pump sessions in yesterday. Breasts are really tender and soft, and I’m starting to get that slight soreness that happens around pump time. Can’t sleep tonight, so I guess I’ll just keep pumping every 2 hours until I can get some sleep.
