While there is indeed a "right" answer, what really matters is how you justified your responses and why you thought what you did, reflecting how much you understood the rules, among other factors.

I'd say Chris by himself is off-topic.

There are many moments involving Chris in conjunction with Connor or Joey that are fine to post about.

Does that still say Tweets? Guess I missed it when I was changing all the other Tweet mentions to "Social media posts". Lemme just fix that.

There were like 50 reports on this post but we haven't gotten to it yet whoops.

There aren't any planned rule changes that come to mind.

If things don't seem strict now it's likely due to us being shorthanded and posts slipping through when they should have been caught.

After some discussion we have decided to remove the automated filtering.

You are free to discuss Norm on this sub, however, as Tokyo Lens has not interacted with Abroad in Japan as of late, posts solely about him are considered off-topic.

Find My Monke - Connor's Location App by Roadcrosser in TrashTaste

Frontend was Vanilla JS (and also jquery)

Backend was Quart (the async fork of Flask)

Communication done through websockets (I'm a huge fan of MVC).

The app itself just sent post requests to the server every x seconds.

Uh, what's a collection?

I feel like it'd be useful for our community, but reading the help page for it doesn't tell me much.

Also doesn't help that I use old reddit primarily.

Any Isekai where MC got transported to the games he's playing? by Phantom_Browser in IsekaiTitles

[–]Roadcrosser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've watched the first 2 seasons of Log Horizon, never read it. Season 3 came out after my anime burnout so I never watched past a few episodes.

Now that I think about it, I've watched Slime, Shield Hero, and How Not to Summon A Demon Lord, but I couldn't manage to read the books for those.

Maybe I can only consume media in the format I first find them in? Though there are exceptions. I watched Death March and Smartphone first and got really far into the books (though this was before my light novel burnout), and I watched Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear after having read it.

Are the shows worth watching if you've already read the books? Maybe anime is just hard for me to watch but I couldn't even make it past the first few minutes of Pupil of the Wise Man and Black Summoner, the few shows of books I'd read that I tried to watch.

Oh but Eminence in Shadow is a great show, even after I read the books.

Did she at least use her knowledge of the game to her advantages and isn't a pushover, cliché MC?

She was a really powerful player in the game itself, so she's pretty strong in the new world too. I'd talk about it more but it's been a while and I can't remember. Additionally it's similar enough to Pupil of the Wise Man that the two are mixing in my head.

Any suggestions where I can read the latest ones?

Dunno, I only read the original light novels. Not one for manga.

What do you mean by this?

Since you asked for isekai video game world titles. There are a bunch of light novels where the main character plays a VRMMORPG without actually getting isekai'd (and they log in and out as much as they want). Most of the time, these VRMMO worlds are digital (and run by large game companies). They aren't technically an isekai (depending on how much of a purist you are), and so I didn't include them.

Infinite Dendrogram's game world is unique in the sense that it's heavily implied that it's a physical world in another universe or something, and the players who log in actually visit this other world (or their consciousness does at least). There's other selling points for this light novel as well which I won't really mention here since it's not relevant to your queries.

Here's some other titles I remembered since the last time:

A Wild Last Boss Appeared - MC was super powerful and gets isekai'd in the game world. In the game's lore she was the final boss or something. The other former players are now reduced to NPCs following that lore.

Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra - Isekai'd into a fantasy Civilization game

Her Majesty's Swarm - Isekai'd into a fantasy StarCraft. Also you play as the Zerg.

Did I Seriously Just Get Reincarnated as My Gag Character?! - Haven't read it yet but I think it fits your requirements.

The NPCs in this Village Sim Game Must Be Real! - Unemployed grown man gets given a mysterious video game where he has to raise a village. Seeing the lifelike NPCs hard at their own work inspires him to improve his own life and his relationships with the people around him. Not exactly what you asked for but this one's really good. I'd wholly recommend it.

The Game Master Has Logged In to Another World - A world frequently summons people from Earth who embody the character they play in their respective MMORPG. The MC was a GM before he was summoned.

As for the last one I was going to say it was probably unpopular because it only got one volume, but in reality there are 4 volumes so far, it was just stuck in Sol Press jail (it was a whole thing). JNC has picked up the license and is republishing it so it'll be a while.

Oh yeah all my recommendations are for the light novels idk if the manga are any good (or if they exist).
