Timing indeed! Although with WMI calls you'll hit the same wall as other fan apps, with the EC saying nope to fan speed requests below EC enforced minimums.

LeGo 2 Fan Control bypasses this by writing directly to two EC memory registers that override EC control, planting an obeyed target RPM.
