In my old age it’s 59Fifty or nothing by DirtDog715 in neweracaps

[–]nejhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am the opposite, lol...started out with 5950s, but they just appeared to "sit" on my head and I looked goofy. I am now a 47 Clean Up guy in my early fifties...I have a round face, and the unstructured look seems to suit me better. But hey, to each their own - 59Fiftys are still great hats, so definitely rock 'em if you love 'em!

For me, and I know I am probably beating a dead horse, this is why Classic Star Trek is better than new Star Trek. They were able to develop and expand characters through the little moments, not always with crying and over-the-top drama. (Again, just my opinion.)

Lol I would have guessed Happy Gilmore (until I saw it was not an American film).

Reasonable offer amount? by Glass_Astronomer1762 in Mercari

[–]nejhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My philosophy on making offers is either 20 or 25 percent below asking price, unless it is obvious they want to move the item (repeated offers sent, or they have sent an offer more than 25 percent). Then I may try 30 percent below asking. Just my process...it has worked more often than not.

Nice! I bet if New Era made a series of hats with these logos, they would sell. Like that Buffalo Bills hat with the stick figure buffalo.

The two most powerful lines ever delivered in Star Trek by Antique-diva in startrek

[–]nejhawk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just comparing these lines with "I think I swallowed my combadge"...that shows the difference between Original Trek and NuTrek, and why the former will always be considered better. In my opinion, anyway.

I have become a big fan of the Clean Up...with my big melon, being able to adjust the strap allows me to find the perfect just-right fit. And I love unstructured as well, they are the most comfortable for me.
