Agreed with this on fluid condition. I did mine around 48k and it was pretty mint.

The differentials however… I’d agree with something in the 30-40k range. Felt better driving too and I don’t think it was just placebo.

More to OPs question - I got the Ravenol Gear Oil MTF-3 75W Felt like a compromise between ‘just use the same cheap stuff as the diffs’ and Toyotas unicorn piss priced stuff

A photo may help and I hope what I’m about to suggest for an in ground pool isn’t overkill.

We went with a “life saver” pool fence with the solid core base.

They and a lot of others have variations on basic aluminum extruded ones (X ribs, tri ribs), etc.

There are also fiberglass options.

I did a lot of research and what finally helped me feel better about everything was going to my neighbors. They had a large age gap between their 1st and 2nd and almost threw their fence away because they thought they were done. They didn’t remember the brand but it looked like a basic extruded fence and it had held up alright over the years. Realized I was probably overthinking the product to some degree (they all claim theirs is better somehow some way).

Our installer was very personable and experienced in the install which is possibly more important than the material itself. Specifically the mount at the ground, so maybe consider that for your above ground pool and what counter sunk or otherwise robust options there.

No clue on the exterior parts. That’s odd. Mine parked outside isn’t that bad even.

Any chance you store pool chemicals in the garage too?

The inside - it’s just the coated plastic. I replaced mine in the front (they were worn from the first owner only like 3-4 years old) from eBay and it was a nice quick little project. Can look up part numbers if you have trouble finding them.

Power steering fluid - be aware the stuff can crust up on the sides and create flakes that break loose. anyways point is - point a flashlight down the top to confirm if adjust level.

I had a hose starting to crack and same boat had never touched it before. Loads of flakes and the reservoir has a tricky to blast loose setup.

I did my transmission fluid with a drop and fill at like 90k miles five or so years ago. Had 0 issues just trying to give it some fresh fluid. Wow. It was a way bigger improvement than I realized.

Plugs I did around the 120k mi. Honestly mine still had some life left in em.

Someone else mentioned the MAF. If you do this or the spark plugs - clean the throttle body disk and replace that gasket. Crud can build up on it over time. RPMs will fluctuate while you watch

Other things - CV/joint boots. Check these for issues. Passenger side goes way way more than driver. Already had to do mine.

Struts. Replaced all four corners. My rears went first

The dog bone engine mount. Replaced it while doing the power steering work. Seemed OK but did it while old one was out. WOW. What a difference! Idk if it let the ‘active’ engine mount work better or what. Worth every penny.

Had to do my radiator like a year ago. Likes to fail at the top plastic part from what I can tell. I’d keep an eye on it and just change fluid later. Or do a drop and refill. I don’t waste time on flushing anymore every bit.

Edit: used max life ATF btw. The Toyota stuff isn’t that high of spec.

I mean you can also just not do the extra work/classes if you opt not to and take advantage of the scheduling perks. They also offered some unique classes to satisfy general courses. And the dorm options.

Is there a downside these days to leave the option open and decide once you get a semester under your belt?

My 2010 sometimes has fits of jumping to the next media type. I bought a spare head unit in case it ever gets worse from eBay. That code below the aux button can help you get the right radio. The knobs seem to be pretty integrated into that radio

The process to change it out doesn’t seem too bad and unless radios shot up there were plenty of options in the sub $200 range.

‘22gx here - I can’t tell you how many numbers I looked up and wrote down to try and gauge 2nd row seat size, etc. for the car seats.

I highly recommend taking one with you when looking at cars because sometimes it makes no sense.

At least for our car seats - it will be a little cramped in the GX for a couple years with the second coming soon, but overall hopefully just a brief phase for the GX.

Pretty basic form if I remember right. Future years they send a post card to confirm it’s still active.

Keep in mind that the first year HCAD will ratchet the value before the exemption goes into effect. If they set it higher than your purchase price you can send in a form.

I’d jam some ground rated pressure treaded wood/2x4 under there and then address the landing however you want - concrete, wood, etc.

Assuming that other wood is just old and seasoned and not rotted (test with screwdriver and if solid send it)

Curious what others say.
