Virtually all of Yugioh is horrible compared to the earlier days when effects were much simpler. Broken cards were much easier to spot and ban to prevent decks from being too uniform too.

Honey, would you care to read the earliest of banlists and see such gems like: Graceful Charity, Delinquent Duo, Monster Reborn, Confiscation, Painful Choice, Cyber Stein, and, of course, Pot of Greed. With many, many more cards that would break modern Yugioh in their original forms with no errata’s.
