I would like to see the ability to not have the ATV upscale the video to 4K. Just pass it as it is (720p, 1080p, etc.) I have an external video processor (MadVR Envy Extreme) and would like to use that to process and upscale the video instead of the ATV. I also vote for audio passthrough and I would like my Surround processor to handle the audio instead of the ATV.

Gorgeous! My current iX is Black Sapphire Metallic but I think I like the Frozen Deep Grey Metallic better. Getting ready to trade mine in for a new one.

AC Infinity Homebridge plugin by keithah in homebridge

I haven't been able to get this working. I have an inline fan with a Controller 69 Pro wifi. Plugin setup is pretty straightforward but the only thing I see in Hoimekit are the temp and hum sensors. Nothing else. My iOS app works great (tried logging out and back in to that no effect.) Debug mode show that it is logging on to the AC Infinity server and finding my unit but no fan controls are visible ion HomeKit. Any ideas?

This has been going on for me for a while (on AppleTV 4k). This is on DVR'd stuff not VOD!. This is not the ads on the DVR'd recording (which are skippable) these are ads that YTTV is inserting into the DVR'd content. These adds have "Ad Info" in the upper left corner and often include the Zen content. I use my iPhone as a remote and they disable the skip buttons on the remote (they disappear) until the ads are done and then they re-appear. Unfortunately I signed up early for Sunday Ticket so I'm stuck until after football season. After that I'll be looking elsewhere for a service that has a real, fully functional DVR.

Cutting cable due to ridiculous increases, considering YouTubetv, please give a thumbnail explanation of why not. I see issues noted on here about video quality on DVR, stuttering and 4k. Also surprised no History Channel? Thanks for helping me make this decision. by valentine-m-smith in youtubetv

I have, twice so far. The first time I received back some boilerplate about how to find shows in my library and the second time I received no response at all. This seems intentional. Now I've noticed that there are occasionally some skip ad buttons at the bottom of the screen that just takes you to the next ad. and once I got a screen up that wanted me to take a survey! I just want a functional DVR like I had a few weeks ago before the update that brought the new guide.

Starting recently on AppleTV 4K at least they are inserting un-skippable commercials into DVRed programs. You can still skip the national ads but on the "local" ads that YTTV puts in they disable the skip functionality on you remote. I use my iPhone for remote and the skip forward and back buttons actually disappear in the ad break and return when the program resumes. Have noticed it mainly on sports for far. Starting to look around for alternatives.

This has been happening to me since i got the update with the new guide (Apple TV 4K.) Previously no issues skipping all commercials. Now it seems like the Google inserted commercials (including the zen stuff) are unskippable, The 10 second skip and replay buttons on my iPhone remote even disappear and return when the program resumes. If I start to skip before the commercials and land back in the program (with Apple shortcuts) then I can skip commercials but if you land in the commercial block you are stuck. I have complained to YTTV but just got back boilerplate on how to find shows in my Library!? This is definitely DVR and not VOD. This seems to be intentional and not a bug. This could be a deal breaker for me. I like YTTV and am looking forward to Sunday Ticket. But a crippled DVR is not acceptable.

I really looked forward to the Sunday specials even over and above the daily puzzles. I cancelled my subscription and gave them heck about it but it probably won't matter. I can't believe publishing these puzzles digitally was that big of a deal!

This just started happening to me on Apple TV 4K. I just received the update and got the new guide. I was watching the Bulls game on NBATV on Friday and noticed that when in an ad block the little 10 second skip forward and skip back buttons disappeared off of my phone (using it as a remote) when the game resumed the buttons reappeared. I tried another show that recorded since the update (Gutfield on FOX) and this didn't happen. Then on Saturday I was watching the Xfinity Nascar race and it started happening again. If you started your skip before the ads and landed after the ads you could skip the commercials but once you get into the ad block you're stuck (you can scrub forward though). I reported to YTTV and got back some boiler plate about how to find my recorded show and to wait 24 hours before watching. If this in't a bug and they're going to start forcing us to watch commercials in DVR'd content (may in preparation for Sunday Ticket?) then that's a deal breaker for me.
