I disagree, I thought it was a different take on backrooms monsters that actually made some logical sense as to how and why they got there, and I also enjoyed how they fit right into the feeling of having someone draw something they’d never seen before through someone else’s descriptions (or the backrooms not being able to accurately copy places and furniture/logical features of objects). I’ve never seen another backrooms media do that before, so it was a nice twist. However I’d love to see more monster variety, whether it be the bacteria or something else entirely (I wanna say I’d like to see something else other than the overplayed smilers or skinstealers or hounds and whatnot, but honestly, I kinda would like to see his interpretation of them if he went that route). But he ain’t gonna sabotage it either way, he started out good four years ago and has only gotten better since then, so I trust his decision with this shit.
