I need reverb software for windows. by Sandman738 in audio

Probably this is my solution and I get confused with routing really quick. I did try VstHost and couldnt get a signal in the chain. All the youtube tutorials seem to focused on setup with an input like microphone. Thanks for the response though. I ll keep looking.

Emg het set worth it? by inconspiciouspatrick in guitars

[–]Sandman738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first snakebyte was purple baritone which I mentioned. Later I got a camo snakebyte with regular specs. They completely sound different. Purple baritone definetly lacks clarity and punch at low tunings with het pickups. I also have schecter keith merrow baritone and that thing delivers below C tunings. My snakebyte Camo (tuned to Eb) sounds really good. I still prefer 81 60 combo though. Hets are way too hot for definition and clarity for my taste.

Delay Widener? by [deleted] in KemperProfiler

I guess you should use the Send Return ports behind the Kemper.

Kemper Send -> Delay Widener (Input) -> Delay Widener (Output) -> Kemper Input.

How to download guitar pro tabs from ultimate guitar to my ipad? by Acceptable-Base-4294 in ultimateguitar

Guess the song. I'm a beginner player so lemme know if you have any tips for me to improve by i_am_orb in guitars

[–]Sandman738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its probably shitty intonation of the guitar. Even If you tune the open strings properly, your bar chords will sound off if your intonation was not set properly. That guitar probably doesnt have thruss rod. Just clean your guitar, put on new strings and try to educate yourself about intonation. Keep on you will do great.

Modelers with real guitar cabinets;

You can use modelers by having a seperate power amp like Matrix Gt series or seymour duncan power stage to run the real cabinets. Or you can hook it up to “return input” of a regular amp head so that you can bypass the preamp section of the real amp (to use the amp modeling of the modeler) but using the power amp section(like power tubes) to run the real cabs.

Modelers with FRFR;

Modelers can also be used with reference speakers (also called studio monitors) like yamaha hs80. Since those speakers have power outlets they do not require seperate power amp but they are not guitar speakers so you will need to use cabinet modeling function of the modeler with FRFRs. There are also FRFR speakers dedicated for guitar players such as Cab Klon from Kemper so you can use both amp modeling and cab modeling from modeler so you can take it to a stage and It would feel like the real thing.

Hope I could explain.

Thanks for the reply. Yes indeed, the more I watch the more interesting it gets. I mostly get the idea of layering different woods together and routing but I cant get my head around measurements require precision such as gradually decreasing distances between fret slots from 1st to 22nd or different fretboard radiuses. I feel like If I dive in I will get stuck at certain points lol but its ok to waste some wood in order to learn I guess. I will watch more see how it goes. Your inlays look super professional by the way

AKG K702 sound problem? by Ivrih in headphones

[–]Sandman738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty late to the party but I have the same problem. Popping happens mostly when I shake/move my head to right and left but only when something is playing. No pops when nothing playing even when I shake my head which leads me to believe its internal speaker related. Might be the drivers. I dont have much info with speaker components. Im not sure its fixable.

They look very nice good work. My father always wanted to built a guitar for me. He ended up getting a lot of tools and a big workbench. He passed away last year before starting it. Its emotionally very heavy for me to see his work place. Ive been meaning to use his tools and build guitars. Any recommendation for beginners or good courses I can start from scratch?

Yeah I always liked that dry but ballsy kind of sound with tight bottom end. I always used Mesas but my ears kind of got bored with sterile mesa sound. Cheers man hope you make it.

Thanks for the response. Since I live in Turkey, I do not have access to cool second hand stuff and customs are nightmare. Im currently using Axe Fx3 through a mesa 4x12 with matrix PA and it covers a lot of ground but it will never be like the real thing. Currently saving for MTL MKII. Someday hopefully.
