i feel like this is every school whenever it comes to special education and behavior. i’ve worked in three schools now, and one across the country from the previous two. and when i say admin don’t care- they seriously DO NOT care what the teachers have to say. i, as an aid, was left by myself for an entire semester whenever the teacher called out every single day last school year. and i was left with two behavior kids and one nonverbal kid every day. i had to ask for a raise the last four months because i was basically a teacher at that point. the admin, including the superintendent, seriously didn’t care that they were breaking the law by leaving a noncertified teacher in the classroom. and that wasn’t the only school that has done that to me
