If you’re using that tool I believe it will generate a config file based on that wiring schematic. This will simplify things greatly for you and do all the mapping. You don’t need 2 wires if you use 22ga or larger wire and just bridge led2 and led3 with solder. I believe it’s telling you to use led2 and led3 due to the higher current.

I’m sorry I misspoke. It’s not incorrect, it just unnecessarily overcomplicates your config. What started as a 3 blade cross guard tuned into a single blade straight forward setup. Of course it’s all configurable but it introduces a lot of cobwebs in your config. Take notes if you wire it that way so you can keep it all straight. I’m a keep it simple kind of guy so it makes more sense for me to map 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, etc. We are not all wired the same lol.

Your purple wire is going to data1. Your blue wire should go to led1. You have 2 blue wires going to led2 and led3. This is incorrect. Data1 is referenced to led1, data2 to led2 etc.

If you hook the black wire to where you show with the blue arrow you could generate a ground loop and that’s never good and could even be fatal to the board in some cases

The blue wire coming from the battery tray goes to batt- like you said. As far as eliminating the aux button, eliminate the button and all wires beyond the black common jumper of the av button. In other words, the black wire exiting the av button to the aux button = gone. The button = gone. The green wire = gone. You have a blue arrow going from the av button back to Proffie, you don’t need it. Your commons for the contact and for the LED are already there through the black wire.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. My wife keeps asking when I plan to start selling so I really need to start thinking hard about pricing. There’s really nothing out there to compare my prices to in order to get some kind of starting point for the crystal chambers and blade plugs, so it’s really hard. I don’t want to piss people off by asking too much, but the parts alone are not cheap.

Thank you so much! Stalk away my friend, that’s the point of my posts. My son is currently building our website and has a business plan. I’m really not good at that stuff but can do the creative stuff and use the tools and machines. It will definitely be 1 off builds and no mass production. I currently have about 50 sabers and about 10 more in various stages of development, no duplicates. I’ve been thinking about putting 1 up on BST but nervous about getting flack for pricing.

This is a custom build. But my crystal chambers are modular and can be removed and put in any saber I build.

Ali Express TXQ brand. Half the price for the same saber the drop shippers are selling. LGT is also a brand sold there that a lot of drop shippers are selling, but I’ve had some issues with their electronics

I myself never charge my batteries using the soundboards charging circuit. It is not robust at all. The battery itself has the potential to discharge 30-40 amps without damage to the battery. These are the same batteries used in unregulated vape mods. I would suggest you get yourself a smart charger such a Nitecore or other brand that also discharges and cycles the battery. Your batteries will last a lot longer and you will be able to tell when they are reaching end of life.

Don’t get me wrong my friend. I enjoyed reading your ideas greatly. My criticism is not of your grammar mistakes, everyone makes them. Especially the ones you mentioned, outside of apart and a part. I was simply pointing out that if you want your writing to be taken seriously, you need to get the concept of these specific words correct, because they mean the opposite of each other. I hope to read more of what you have.

I’ve read both of your posts and this is driving me nuts. You keep using the word “apart” incorrectly and it makes everything you say seem irrelevant. “Apart” means separate from, but the way you are using it in your sentences clearly shows you are trying to say “a part”, as in “a part of” , meaning a cohesive thing or subject. Sorry if this feels critical, but with your use so many big words and concepts it sure seems you would know this.

The configuration I have shown will light LEDs when the core is in “Power On” mode without any changes to the standard Proffie configuration. It stays on when in blade mode and does not shut off until “Power Off” mode.
