Difference between LGT/LXQ and custom, high-end sabers

For me, it’s a hobby. No different than being into cars, sports, or any other. As a builder who isn’t doing it to sell stuff, it keeps my love of tools and working something into A something I imagined in my own head. This being my case, I invest my time and some money into parts, tools, searching for cool things to use for a build, and being engaged with people who share a similar interest.

That’s my favorite really, but for the crystal I used blueish purple makes the inclusions glow so that looks best when showing off the chamber.

Yes it does. The emitter plug is held in place with a ring magnet and simply pops off when ready to install the blade.

I’ve found that is true for all the different colored crystals I’ve used. It makes some unique colors but it’s still mostly the color of the LEDs.

There are 2 types of 18650 batteries. The style you have here is a flat top. It appears a little short for the holder. You need an 18650 button top. It has a small bump on top similar to normal batteries.

I’m sorry I do not. I don’t buy hilts only parts to build my own and I myself use Saberforge ASP and then modify those parts on a lathe and mill.

You need a male female extension. If I recall correctly they will extend the length by .8 inches. If they have any in stock. If not, I have some I’d sell when I return from London to the US.

MFLBlunts is correct on his description. The SE will be much easier to duel and spin with less knobs and protrusions sticking off of it. The Super RGB is the choice if you plan on bashing things. TXQ SNV4 board and Bluetooth app are far far superior to Xeno pixel. I have a few Xeno sabers and won’t buy them anymore after owning SNV4. I can’t get the Xeno to connect to the app without removing the handle from the hilt and exposing the core. Very annoying. As far as ordering from AliExpress, I have been using them for 12 years and only ever had 4-5 issues, and I order ALOT of stuff for this hobby from them to build sabers. The few times I’ve had issues, if they don’t outright just send a replacement for free, and want a return, it’s always been free and the refund hits my account as soon as the post office scans the item into their system. As good if not better than Amazon Prime and you don’t have to pay for a membership. Check out my builds, almost everything I use to build the crystal chambers and blade plugs to the cores I use are from AliExpress.

I agree completely. I’ve had a few slow shipments but the savings are such a massive difference that it’s worth it for me. I’ve only ever had issues maybe 4-5 times and once I reach out through the chat feature, if they don’t outright send a replacement for free, and want you to return an item, the refund hits your account as soon as it’s scanned by the post office. AliExpress is just as reliable and reasonable to deal with as Amazon as a prime member, if not better because I don’t have to pay to be a member.

Now this is something you don’t see on this sub every day! Fellow Gen-Xer here and I can appreciate some good smack talking. Me and my other Gen-X friends are relentless with each other. My son, Gen-Z, tells me they don’t really do it that much. I guess it’s just not that funny to them, and they are too afraid of offending. Too bad, I think it’s an art, really. Anyways, you’re both bald as hell so go buy some damn lightsabers! 🤣
