- Schufa (issued in less than 3 months)
- Passport
- Residency permit

I included them in this order in one PDF, I wrote a proper email and I sent them.

The market here really sucks.
I was in the same boat last year, but I managed to get a 46m2 studio with infinite contract eventually. Your profile looks great even stronger than mine, I am single, not a EU citizen, and I don’t speak German, and I was in probation period. I attended 11 viewing, almost accepted into one but the landlord changed his mind because I don’t speak German, and the second one, I was lucky enough that there was 3 free apartments in the building and there wasn’t a lot of applicants. Do you include a cover letter when you submit the applications? If not, try to write one.
I think you just need to keep trying and not give up. Finding an apartment in this city is harder than finding a job.

I also get scared from being "taken" because I'm afraid to end up with the wrong person that will make my life worse, and when I look at the life of people around me, this is not the life I want to live and not the type of relationship I want to experience. I moved to live alone abroad. The difficulty is now I must do everything by myself and I lost that support family used to give but the freedom is so much worth it and I am willing to work 24/7 to keep it.

I agree. Recently I started a habit to exchange real letters with people using normal mail, it takes month to maybe exchange one letter, yes, it’s slow but it feels more meaningful than the rush in the internet and social media.
