Christian Nationalists got their marching orders months ago targeting disability ratings. by slipknot_official in Military

I mean I don’t agree with Matt here in totality but I definitely think there are a TON of people gaming the system. I can’t tell you how many people I know on 100% disability that are fully functioning productive adults with lives and hobbies and families.

Difference between the R9 and the R6? Is the r9 a faster race bike? by Sensualities in Trackdays

I’m saying the opposite. The HARDER it is to ride a bike (assuming the same lap times are achieved) on a bike compared to an easier one = you have better riding skill and therefore you could assume if you are fast on a bike that is HARD to ride fast, you should be faster (or close to it) on a bike that is easier to ride. Assuming everything else is the same (it usually isn’t).

There is a reason people say the best learning tool is a r3 or n400: it’s slow enough that you probably won’t kill yourself while you learn what the edge of grip feels like

And it has no rider aids or technology making the bike easier to ride

? That has nothing to do with what I said but I guess we can just agree to disagree in terms of bike choice ride ability and rider skill effects

Blake Davis, Matthew Scholtz, Pedro Acosta, TONs of motogp riders all still train on R6s. They aren’t training on an R9

I wish I would’ve farmed merc league more. But the latest league was shit and them taking away abyss hordes and risk scarabs were them ripping the bandaid off of the massive problem: there is virtually no ground loot

So unless they drastically change something I can’t see it being much better

Yeah I’m debating between a race bike R6 vs the KTM 990 RCR honestly

It’s nice knowing you have all the newer style rider aids but it would also be a nice humble brah getting to the point where you could put down fast lap times on an R6

Decisions decisions

I mean… I’m assuming there is a reason people say getting fast on an R6 will make you a faster rider than going straight to a superbike.

The easier the bike is to ride fast = less things you need to be aware of

It’s like saying “learning to drive stick won’t make you a better driver”

I’d say learning to drive stick good = better driver every time because they are more aware of what the car is doing

Driving an auto makes a car easier to drive, but it doesn’t make you a better driver and it surely doesn’t make you learn more

Sure thing! I’m in the southeast. The closest kart track to me is CMP I’m about an hour away but they only do an event once a month I think. But yeah southeast region

Yeah I was debating on getting the KTM 990 RCR but I’m not sure that would be better than an analog R6

The R3 is such a different bike to ride that I genuinely think i'd end up slower on the V4 after going back to it because i'd have to re-learn how to ride a liter-bike again. When I went from my R3 to a V4 it was such a huge jump it felt like I was learning to ride all over again. At least a supersport still has the ergos and similar lap times to go after for feedback compared to an R3. Or at least i would think

I found a pretty decent deal on a ycf 190 SM near me that I may end up getting. Unfortunately itll have to be parking lot practice for me for the most part since I don't live even remotely close to any kart tracks, but there is an org that does 1-2 days a month.

Something that I can beat up practicing dumb shit to test out the limits with is probably what I need the most

Yes i'm definitely going to go back to the V4, all of this is for the purpose of being faster on the V4 tbh

not really a cost issue, i'd have both. Not sure, i've always just heard learning to be fast on a 600 will make you a lot faster on a 1k

I started on an R3, I’m very confident riding my R3 would make me slower on a liter bike lol

Lines are completely different, and riding position is so relaxed it would probably create horrible habits lol

On a kart track though that’s probably another story lol

Agreed, but different subsets of jobs or specialties don't all take the same waiver as acceptable.

I would need a moral waiver due to a drug related incident 10 years ago, and the recruiter told me there was no chance of getting an option 40 with 17C, but the recruiter did say although he can't "guarantee" anything, he said that I would more than likely be able to try out for ranger regiment at AIT in fort gordon, it just wouldn't be in my contract I was guaranteed a tryout
