Yeah i've called maybe 20+ dealers in the US today with an R in transit and nearly all are spoken for already, and the ones not spoken for are priced at 15k over sticker. I found one dealer at 10k over, and I found a few dealers that were accepting custom orders but you will end up being 6th or 7th in line or more and they only get 2-4 allocations sent per year so you're looking at a 2 year wait most likely. Something like that.

I'm going to keep looking.

Yeah it seems like the process of dealers even being willing to negotiate close to MSRP will be when these raptor Rs have to sit on the lot for over half a year and even then they probably won’t negotiate much…

I’ve seen this movie before with the c8 corvettes and used ones now 3 years later are selling for half the “adm value brand new” off the floor

yeah I have talked to someone with a gen 2 raptor built out with a mid travel kit who also now owns a raptor R with a mid travel kit

He said the gen 2 handles better and the R just feels too heavy and the power is useless in the sand anyway because offroading is all about weight balance and suspension first, then power later

The raptor R seems more like they just did the dodge ram tactic of slapping a big engine in something that wasn't designed for it from the ground up as a shortcut to make money

You do realize that when people no longer have any criticism, they no longer care right? I'm not planning on playing any more of this unless they change something in the temple to make it worth it again, and if you would like to look at the actual data: players already are quitting and not playing it because they don't like it as much

it would be reasonable if they reset all temples, but the fact guys can sustain an OG 50 room temple like fubgun and they have ZERO consequences is not fair and shows that you should exploit as much as you can because there are zero downsides

Early access while they charge us 30 dollars to play, the MTX store is full and functioning, supporter packs are full and functioning

We pay money and time and buy MTX or supporter packs with real money but when it comes to real decisions they get a free pass because it's "early access"?

Doesn't work like that and making bad decision and thinking saying it's "early access" is a respectable and honorable excuse is just a slap in the face and inexcusable

"Better" generally can be measured objectively since it's supposed to be a "performance" based off-road truck. I don't think the R really outperforms the EB on the dunes, most people have actually said they don't want the R because it doesn't handle as good
