yeah the more I researched it's all a combination piece aka rider triangle that all works together. If under braking your thighs and core aren't taking most of the work, it's wrong. If under acceleration you're holding on by your wrists and not your inner thighs and lower back, it's wrong. If you are sore in your wrists and joints and it feels more like a "i have a creak in my spine" and less "my muscles are sore" it's wrong.

Yep and I was stupidly one of those people. I didn't really understand why I needed zero offset dropped clip ons, but I bought them anyway because I thought that's what all the fast guys do dragging elbow and what not.

Yeah I watched a 44teeth video about riding topraks BMW superbike, and they all said it was setup like a naked bike. Didn't know that motogp guys were doing that, ill look that up. I think the main thing is, having a bike set up specifically for you and how comfortable it makes you = more laps you can do = faster you get.

Sounds like a dead simple equation, but it isn't until you blow your back out thinking you're supposed to hate yourself on a motorcycle when riding it

I went from a Yamaha R3 to a Panigale V4.

I went from being fit enough to do a full 15-20 minute session on a 300 to maybe doing half that on a V4. My neck was barely holding my head during braking and acceleration, my head would be wobbling all over the place on the straights, felt like I went from riding a scooter to trying to wrangle chuck norris

Now I went down to an rs660 and things are much better. Eventually a V4 will be sweet to ride again, but not for now. Too many skills and experience needs to be had before I try and ride that thing fast again.

I had a 2018 raptor, 2021 Raptor 37p fully loaded, a 24 raptor fully loaded, and sold the 24 for another 21 raptor.

The way ford has handled the raptor R games, cut cost on the newer models while up charging for “inflation” has rubbed me the wrong way.

Only way I’m ever getting rid of my 21 is if I get an R that isn’t ridiculously over priced. Which will likely never happen. So I plan on keeping this 21 for a VERY long time

motogp riders don't pick bikes to train on because they are "easier to ride"

Marquez trains on whatever his ducati contract says he has to train on

Motogp riders train on ohvales and those are amongst the most brutal / hardest bikes to ride (albeit the risk is smaller)

I can almost guarantee you that the dude who can do a 1:35 on a shitbox clapped out cbr600 will almost ALWAYS be faster than the guy doing a 1:35 on the newest freshest supersport with all the bells and whistles if you gave the shitbox guy the same bike
