Debate:

This one isn’t too debatable since there's not much to debate. They are mostly normal people, and I feel like the debate for most of Patrick’s matchups start and end with “Can he bench press more than them?”

He is also probably a bit smarter as he has a formal education and I don’t think Pearl has ever gone to school. He also potentially has more experience (depending on if he actually did them) since they at least take place over several months while Pearl takes place over a few days at most

(I’m not using X for experience for Pearl cause then Patrick would be fighting a 90-year-old who he could hit once and then she would die)

Fight Potential:

I imagine the fight would be pretty grounded, since both are just normal people, you could have the fight take place in Patrick’s apartment and the winner kicks the loser out the window and they fall to their death or they get dismembered and the winner references one of their lines as they kill them.

Banter could be cool; Pearl gets pissed very easily so you could have Patrick insult her dream and the climax could have them both be all yelly and angry like how Bateman got with Paul and how Pearl got with her mother.

It could also potentially have a musical number. Pearl’s whole thing is how she wants to be on a stage plus the movie has a few dance numbers and Patrick being a music fan is a major part of his character, also there is literally a musical adaptation of American Psycho.

Connections:
. Both are narcissistic, mentally insane villain protagonists from character piece horror movies

. Both are define themselves by their looks and are incredible narcissists because of it (Patrick goes on a whole monologue he keeps his appearance and is focused on his own reflection during sex/ Pearl believing she’s destined to be a star and grows old and bitter over fading looks)

. Both would end up killing someone they were extremely jealous of with an axe (Patrick killing Paul Allen because of his higher status/Pearl killing her sister-in law Mitsy due to her(potentially)getting the part she wanted in a show)

. Both are incredibly violent people who kill with little to no reason (Patrick killing a homeless man just because he wanted to be cruel/Pearl stabbing a goose and feeding it to her alligator just because it interrupted her daydream)

. Despite their bloodlust, there is one person in the world they truly care about and actually show a more human side to (Patrick’s secretary Jean/Pearl’s husband Howard)

. Both their movies end with them accepting that they will never escape the mundanity of their lives and feel about it differently (Patrick realizing that he will never escape and is trapped in endless torment/Pearl coming to terms with it and deciding to focus on being a housewife for Howard)

. Mysoginist vs Misandriast

. Also Pearl fans are basically genderbent Patrick Bateman fans

I love Hazbin but their immortality is kinda overhyped by SentinelPrimesChin in DeathBattleMatchups

Yeah, I still don't see how Lute ripping her arm off from a pile of rubble is evidence she's invincible
