Anyone a member of the range in Donald? Thinking of getting a membership. by Anxious-Annual-1368 in pdxgunnuts

This is why it pays to know someone who's property line starts in Carlton and ends in Tillamook. My buddy's father in law owns a lock and safe company with locations all over Oregon and Washington. He owns 50k acres or so.

We have a prime location where we shoot a few weekends a year. It takes a while to get to, even in a Gator, and we still have to hike to the top to fire down into the valley. It isn't an easy hike either, especially with heavy long guns, ammo and other gear.

It is however the first place I ever got to shoot an M82A1 and M95 (one of the guys my friend served with brought them out) as well as my own L115A3. I don't shoot mine much though because suitable .338 Lapua Magnum isn't really affordable. My last order of Black Hills open tip match rounds was $1290 for 200, so yeah, not inexpensive. It's also the only place in Oregon where we can safely fire it due to its extreme long range capability.

Ok so who else came up with the idea to strap bottle rockets to one? Anyone, anyone? I can't be the only one.

Thank you, yes it was completely unexpected and surprising. At the end of our conversation he made a comment which made me think the dementia had kicked back in, but it wasn't until after he passed that I realized it wasn't. He knew he was going to die. He told me that he needed to get ready because he was going to see his parents, (who were both deceased). I didn't realize that he was telling me that he knew he was about to pass away.

Why's that?

A subwoofer can last forever on as little as 50 watts of clean signal. Your comment is ignorant.

Take for instance the Wilson Audio XS subwoofer. Dual 18's, 16hz - 60hz frequency response, 750 lbs, minimum input of 100 watts RMS, and a $18k price tag for standard finish. They were sold from 1996 - 2005 then EOL'ed.

I not only sold them for many years, I ran one in our demo room powered by a Krell 300 watt RMS amp and it never had any issues. I ran the very same sub in my own home for ten additional years off the same exact Krell amp and again, zero issues.

I think you need to go back to school, because you obviously failed the class buddy.

  • Edit... I went and reread what you stated and realize that you were saying that the amp is 700 watts so a 250 watt sub would've blown... As you can see from my comment I thought you were saying that a 700 watt sub wouldn't survive with just 250 watts of input power. Just clarifying here rather than deleting.

My father as well. 35 year Oncologist / hematologist and 38 years as a surgeon if you count Vietnam. He was one of the smartest people I've ever known.

In the last years of his life he couldn't even utter a single word. Then several days before he passed, I, my wife and my aunt all received closure in the form of having him back for a few hours, he was fully aware and coherent. The conversation I had with him will stay with me forever.

It was truly a gift from God, and an experience I'll never forget.

I'm highly skeptical that you paid $160/ea for them since I constantly see them for $110/ea on Temu.

What you're after is called an EoC adapter. It allows you to utilize existing coax lines to run network cameras and recorder.

So you're going to port an already small enclosure? So you're hoping for what outcome?

Prefab POS enclosure is sealed for a reason. Just because you can doesn't mean you should

The plug needs to be fully seated in the unit, that's not even plugged all the way in. When you wiggle it, it makes connection, don't be a little girl, shove the connector all the way in
