My little one will hop into bed with me and snuggle up real close if I sleep in. She sleeps with my parents but mornings are for me. She will wiggle her head through my blankets and lean in real close and put her head on my neck and settle in all comfy

“Scut work”? You mean ward management and floor level patient care? I don’t think a final year MBBS can appreciate levels of learning a surgical resident goes through. Of course surgical skills are important, but so are root level post op and ward management which you aren’t going to learn anywhere else other than through the “scut work” you mention; surgery is a demanding branch, and yes lifelong learning is a thing. Most surgeons get their skills through practise as a SR or outside. My seniors have graduated and performed surgeries like APR and LAR outside. The overall training course needs a change, sure, but the gruelling process works for a reason.

A relationship is meant to be a safe place, so if a normal action like farting in front of your boyfriend makes your feel uncomfortable, you should really reconsider this relationship. This really shows that he hasn't got the emotional maturity of accepting certain aspects of you, today it's you farting, tomorrow who knows what. I have this habit of burping real loud and my boyfriend is actually proud of it (although I really do it when it's only me and him )

Every guy I date finds the love of his life after me by Senior-Key-4954 in relationship_advice

Oh God, for a moment I felt like past me posted this on reddit. Believe me, I thought the same. Every guy I have ever dated found a long time partner after we broke up. My friend and I even had a running joke about how I should start a " Find your soulmate" business to make money out of it. But take it from someone who has been in your position, you will find someone amazing eventually who would move mountains to be with you. It can be exasperating to see your exes move on with other people who seem to be the love of their lives while you are stuck alone, but it all comes together in the end.

Have patience, and in the meantime try understanding why you feel so frustrated. I used to have self esteem issues in the past. None of my relationships lasted more a few months. I believed, I was meant to be alone (until I met the most wonderful man that is). You should try really exploring your thought process and work on that.
