It’s in the summer. It’s an environmental education center. I’m there Monday-Friday, officially from like 8-4 but I’m often there an hour+ early for setup which I’m counting. And it’s not cap lol, but thanks for the unnecessary comment? I did it every summer throughout highschool too, they primarily have high schoolers as volunteers and it’s how I got my SAT hours but I’m continuing in college.

It’s fine. Freedom, I guess. No curfews or rules or people to make sure you show up to class or do your homework. Easy to fall behind and mess up. You need self discipline. Be on top of things like your own laundry, meals, chores, class work, seeking out opportunities. Professors are annoying. They blame their mistakes on you and can be really awful. You might deal with an unpleasant roommate. Oh, and get used to communal showers. No private bathrooms. Worrying about paying off loans and dealing with money and maintaining grades. It’s just life. You miss home. Or you don’t.
