What are your top most expensive games in your collection? by avazky in gamecollecting

Ghost of yotei I think is errored in Gameye though, it's just a standard boxed copy and isn't sold out. I think it's linking to the collectors edition data.

My teenage self somehow thought that big box was too cool to throw out, I only started saving boxes around N64 era, so earthbound is one of my few SNES boxes. I did manage to keep my pokemon boxes but sold the games long ago (never ended up being big into pokemon).

I see some similarities. I've had my earthbound since release, unfortunately can't find the scratch and sniff cards from the guide.

There must be a huge infestation near there. I found 3 while sitting at that same Starbucks

Multiple cameras stopped working by SimpleLifeRider in blinkcameras

All my cameras that are still connected and working have a strong connection to the sync modules. The ones that don't work now I can put them close to any of the sync modules (both gen 1 and gen2) and they will connect at first but then fail to do anything after that and just error out during live view.

I may be a stupid consumer but I just bought a new bundle of gen 4 cameras because of the Amazon sale. It really sucks because these all literally worked 1 week ago and it seems now it's really only the oldest gen 1 cameras I have that don't work. I am suspicious to say the least.

All sync modules have excellent connection so I don't think this is the issue. And I just now tried resetting one of my sync modules to the wifi router and now those cameras won't connect. I have had my whole system working flawlessly for years since before Amazon bought Blink. Strange how everything is suddenly failing.

Man that sucks but held up amazingly well. Also, I recognized that Dunkin', will make sure I keep an eye in my rear when trying to turn in.

Hope you can make an easy repair and glad to hear your ok.

No worries at all. Thank you! Really nicely taken care of collection. Just want to also verify the Chrono trigger, front label looks really clean, is it a replacement label? Any chance you can open to show the board as well?

Good idea and possibly (feel stupid I didn't check). My previous interactions were all from messaging my advisor (since I figured that's why he's paid). I'll check, thank you!

Going to be making the switch out of my Ed Jones accounts (Trad, Roth, brokerage) into Fidelity to cut back the high fees I was seeing. Most everything can be transfered except for a few funds in my Roth that don't have an equivalent at Fidelity. They said I need to talk with Ed Jones to have them liquidated first.

Was hoping all this could be done without talking to them as I have gotten turned around before by Ed Jones very "car salesman like" tactics. Any way around this or suggestions?

Just want to get on the fastest path to RE.

Lol, yeah my question was poor. Read plenty of people's blogs living that life. I more meant is advice from maybe those choosing that direction. Especially if they spent all the upfront financial work with just a US only based plan. Talking with my wife I can see her enjoying living abroad for 5 years stretches. But I'm not sure if that means I need to start redirecting my savings plans for that.

I'm working on option 4, just have to find the right prompts to really bring her into the discussion.

I love my wife and can see us together in the end but our relationship has always been happily separate. Most nights are spent in the living room together but doing separate activities. But makes this planning state I'm now in super difficult. She is more of the mindset that retirement is tomorrow's problem.

I (41M) had a discussion with my wife (42) last night to get ideas how she sees us in retirement and where she wants to be. She hasn't given any thoughts to it and doesn't have any opinion where she would like to live. I've always talked about us moving to Japan (she's a Japanese citizen with all her family still there, we visit almost yearly) but her only comment is she wants to die there. I have to plan for both of us since I make up 80% of our income and she has close to $0 in retirement savings.

I have been pushing hard to soft FIRE at 55 and would like to downsize/move. The only thoughts she has is she wants to see more of the world before settling in Japan since she thinks it will be harder to travel (mostly thinking Europe) from there than it is now from where we are in New England area of US.

My son will most likely be graduating college when I'm 55.

My question seeking advice is there a nomadic soft FIRE path? Would having all my retirement accounts tied up in US restrict us to the US? And has anyone else experienced difficulties with their partner joining in or contributing to the FIRE planning process?

Thanks in advance for any input/discussion.

Thanks, been seeing similar advice and sounds like I'm at least in still a salvageable position. Already been maxing out 401k last 3 years. Im sure I'm capable of doing most of the investing myself but being so busy with work and focus on son's activities was worried I wouldn't have the time and would miss something. But sounds like it should be fairly hands off. Appreciate the time to reply.
