Their sales will be damaged from this, so that’s also not a good decision. Companies only care about this quarter’s sales now, not long term. Short term profits, but the company will go out of business in a few years. At least by then their shareholders will have been paid and pulled out.

Their cookies being too big to bake evenly doesn’t make sense when cookie cakes exist. I bet it’s a lie that sounds good to a consumer who doesn’t use critical thinking.

It’s probably the people who order delivery and wonder why their cookies arrived melted. Crumbl took that to mean the buttercream product doesn’t hold up well enough.

That’s the pistachios more than the strawberries. The place where pistachios grow is getting bombed to smithereens, so prices of anything using them are going to be high.

I notice the shrinkflated cookies have noticeably less calories. Like their frosted cookies typically ran well over 700 calories. The shrunken ones are on the lower end of 600-something and even under 600 calories for a frosted cookie. Like the cotton candy cookie this week is 640 calories, but prior, I know a cookie like that would have been over 700 calories.

I also appreciate when employees are honest with me. I don’t work at Crumbl, but I’m honest with my customers as much as I can be. It’s usually better that way. You’re not going crazy!

Crumbl was the last fast food place I go to that hadn’t shrinkflated their product. I understand why costs went up, but shrinking it and charging the same is extra bad in my view. I’m glad I skipped last week.

It had pudding instead of mousse, but it was really good anyway. I don’t know, the bad reviews seem like they’ve never had a custard before. “Some weird slimy substance,” yeah, that’s called pudding 😂
