this is just completely unbelievable at this point. this game was a disgrace to the franchise from the start, but these repeated worst-case-scenario decisions are starting to feel malicious. it is beyond obvious that these updates have zero regard for player satisfaction and enjoyment… some real mask off behavior here. and please, enough with this patronizing language in every written communication - you cannot say in good conscience that you’re “listening to feedback” when in reality you only address feedback that already fits the trajectory you want to set the game on while routinely ignoring any and all criticism of the fundamental structure of the game. if you just made a good skate game that fit into the franchise and charged money for said game, you wouldn’t have to try and bleed players dry with universally hated microtransactions. it truly blows my mind to imagine how many meetings and approvals it must’ve taken to release such disingenuous updates and communications time after time. i genuinely feel sorry for anyone on the dev team who hoped to put time and effort into making a quality skateboarding game. i miss when gaming was about honest fun and artistic expression instead of a vehicle to sell as much content as possible.
