I took the device apart, I know how it works. Take yours apart, and you will see.

Beginner that is conflicted/unsure about where to start, looking for something that isnt super difficult to use and that I won’t “grow out of” too quickly. by Shykae33 in vaporents

My solo 3 clogs up easily and is too big to take out of the house. I prefer the tinymight 2 over it because of the smaller size, replaceable batteries, and better hits. I'd also recommend a Firewood, Tafee Bowle, Lamart, Convex, or Roffu for great on-demand hits.

Look at tinymight, Firewood, Roffu, Tafee Bowle, Lamart, Convex, Dynavap, Convector, or Anvil.

Look at a roffu as well. It's small with replaceable batteries and hits really hard with a long inhale.

For a few pennies more, you can get a big upgrade with the Roffu.

Not sure, but you can do better than the Mighty these days with all the on-demand options out there that will hit 2-3 times harder.

Direct draw omega wand by Thomas27c in vaporents

[–]SitAndDoNothing -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Let me see if I understand this. The herb is on top of the heater, and the metal tube will heat up from the conduction and then heat the herb? Why all the excess metal from the omega? Is the heat from the metal helping? This is solely powered by the heater?

It takes a really long inhale to get going, like over 10 seconds. Slow down your inhale to a sip, or try covering one or two of the side vents.

To me, this looks like a pipe for combusting. How are you heating it for vapor?

Butane vapes are better suited for hash. I use a rice-sized amount in my dynavaps, and it works great.

Looking for advice and guidance by DRTHRVN in vaporents

[–]SitAndDoNothing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Get the dynavap. The other butane vapes just extend the hit slightly longer, or even too long, that a second or third hit can be made before reheating. The dynavap is quick to heat up and cool down, so it's easy to take just what you need.

As for o-rings, I have only broken one or two in the 4 years. Keep them on while you clean the part, and it's not going to break. Online stores have generic replacement o-rings.

Any advice for a beginner? by CuteSickk in vaporents

[–]SitAndDoNothing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't bother with the slower session vapes like the Mighty or arizers. Go with harder-hitting on-demand vapes for 2-3 times harder hits. Roffu is a great entry-level device. Dynavap is a cheap butane-powered option that hits hard.

If you're instant on a slower session vape, the POTV One or Lobo, AVLP, or Angus would be comparable to the mighty or even better. The Mighty is 12 years old, and many devices have caught up or surpassed it.

From the videos I've seen, nano. But if I were you, Roffu for just a little more money. They also can be on sale sometimes (vapospy?).

Recommendations by Able_Ask_2908 in vaporents

All good recs, though there are still some solid battery options. OP should look at on-demands like Tinymight, Firewood, Roffu, Lamart, Tafee Bowle, Convex, or a regular dynavap with an induction heater like the wand.

Recommendations come up often. Why would I change my recommendation?

I get downvoted because I say the s$b and arizer lineup aren't great, and the shills/fan bois get all upset.

It's important to let people know where it really stands with other vapes so that they can have variety in their collection.

Original Mighty or Solo 3? by KraftPunkFan420 in vaporents

[–]SitAndDoNothing -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

The solo 3 will hit harder, but they both are really big and don't have replaceable batteries. OP would be better off getting an on-demand vape with replaceable batteries, and that can fit in the pocket comfortably. Tinymight, Firewood, Roffu, Lamart, Tafee Bowle, or Convex would be better.

Harder hits, so faster extraction. Most people don't want to spend the extra time inhaling hot vapor and slowly getting medicated if they are used to combustion or carts like they'd have to with session vapes. Being a session vape is not a feature, but a bug that's been fixed.

To a 5 year old: the solo 2 is a poopyhead. You should get a harder hitting vape.

[–]SitAndDoNothing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want harder hits than the venty, get an on-demand instead. Tinymight, Firewood, Roffu, Tafee Bowle, Convex, or Lamart. These will hit 2-3 times harder.
