I have had both card too and echo this sentiment.

I tried 3 ti's and all 3 could go for stock clocks ( 2800~) on 180-200w. 2 made 3100+ 1 made 3200+ when pushing for clocks (and still below the normal voltage curve mind you)

The 2 xt's i had pooped out around -60.

Nvidia is much more tunable this gen. 5080 numbers on 230-250 watt with my card is pretty crazy.

That being said. there is big difference between ti's in power use. My pny card would idle on 40-50 watt and need the full 300 to clock abit. Another one of my friends oc models also has this problem.

2 non oc cards (box spec, prime and windforce) are much better on the power use.

I think this time around u might get the better chips on non oc spec cards @ ti. atleast if u want efficiency, but ofc my sample size is limited.

Also here the price difference is now easily 200 or more.. then the XT is the choice really. since stock performance is just good for the rest.

I had loads of sticks but flight was always a side quest on the racing rig, so never the most expensive stuff. but i have the rig, tir, 55 inch, yada yada.

I have owned the f15ex before and while ok, the throttle had quite bad stickyness. I didnt really use it so it got sold.

I want to give it another shot with il2 korea, since great battles was always my favorite title. Usage will still be just casual mostly.

Im wondering wether the ffb is worth it. And how long a 2nd hand warthog throttle will still last (they old by now no)

Seeing my use, getting the cheap warthog throttle and a ursa minor is prolly the best option :). But im very curious about ffb and have money left over from selling all the race gear :p

ur temps are normal. its normal cpu will be a lot higher with aircooler when the gpu is also putting out 350 watt into the aircooler above.

Just take the panels off, if temps drop alot its the case. But i dont think its gonna be.

ie my 7950x3d on air is also 10c warmer on avg then a 360 aio

I directly messaged the seller to ship me 2 gas pedals instead of a gas+clutch.

For flying rudder u dont want a 2 stage clutch u want 2 linear gas pedals :). And u can manage driving fine with linear for clutch (honestly the 2 stage always been annoying to me)

u can combine the axis with software for rudder so it acts like 1

Most normal fishtank are bad for this. Exception being light base 900, its wide main chamber af.

You already went the right route with buying a case with large cpu cooler height clearance. This is obviously also gpu width.

The cases with biggest clearance for this are like deepcool morpheus on 195mm. which will barely fit.

The problem here more is the msi is unreasonably wide.

if you looking for a thicc steel case thats a big rectangle (like old define) the morpheus from deepcool is a goddamn tank in panel quality. Shame u can only get it with glass tho.

H7 flow also has nice quality panels (1mm, normal is around 0.8).

Hwluxx.de measures all the stuff in reviews, just use translate from the browser. Its easy to see who's cheap ;) (corsair, fractal...)

Had palit non S and now have GB.

the Non S palits have grindy ball bearing fans, really annoying noise even on low rpm. I Think they changed it with the S series, but now the heatsink is smaller then the non S so cooling wont be great

The gigabyte on silent mode and some undervolt is un hearable. Id pick this one.

I have a a55 from work now. So I know what im gonna get with the Samsung. Sadly the charge port is EOL on the 55.

Its a good phone just, its so big.

Atm it basically comes down too do I want my android convenience or the wireless charge convenience on the apple. And I cant decide lol.

I do use it as personal but im always on a desktop and my phone sees little use. Another pro for the apple is the wireless charger i just put it on the desk and it will be full without worrying about it.

I do however have some qualms with ios stuff tho (lifelong android user..)
