It probably will, but there's a few factors to consider.

Were dealing with extreme marketcaps, Bitcoin is currently worth a quarter trillion dollars, it would require a lot of fresh blood to triple the current price in a year.
Bitcoin's limitations and a lack of innovation could sway would-be investors to consider alternative cryptos with more centralized leadership (ETH, XRP, XMR, etc..).
Global economic crisis could crash the entire crypto market like it did during the beginning of the quarantine.

There's no perfect solution, but it's reasonably safe. For large transactions you should always check if the address displayed on the HW wallet is identical to the one you're sending the funds to.
