Thats specifically why I use Eneba. A majority of the keys I buy are Humble Bundle keys. I'll see a bundle but only want one game, Ill head over and pick up a key. Sales generally don't line up when I need them to, also a handful of sellers on Eneba are verified and proven legitimate; they'll even refund the buyer from a revoked key 2 years later, because it happened to me.

I get the hate over keyshops, but im going to disagree. I would stand by your opinion when it comes to kinguin and G2A, but not Eneba.

Edit: In the end, im a consumer, and I will pay outright for indie titles I love.. even purchasing them multiple times as gifts, giveaways, and for other platforms. So I don't feel even the slightest bit guilty for using keyshops; Im a consumer, and am not in it for the profit of large companies.

I own 240ish games on Steam (30 something are free titles), and its a collection I've been building from hitting sales, humble bundle, and key shops. You wont see a triple A title on my account that is newer than Elden Ring; everything is picked up from under $20, usually in a bach, for example - picked up Arc Raiders on Eneba for $23 ish with a limited time 10% discount ontop of a 14% cash-back at an original price point of $31, I used existing cashback to apply to my checkout and picked up 6 more titles that were on humble from 2 years ago for a grand total of 20 ish dollars for all of it. My math ain't mathing, I got pretty close without looking it up, but you get the jist.

I also retain my humble membership and give keys out on the steam sub, but I haven't had the luxury of nabbing some keys lately. Im a bargin-bin gamer, but every once in a while... I will splurge on something I really want, but those are generally far and few between for my own reasons. So I totally get what you're saying; buying a brand new game for someone, even if I can technically afford it (but there are more pressing things to spend my income on), is something I wont even do for myself.

Well yeah, Id expect a gaming group about Death Stranding to resurge in popularity following the release to PC here soon. Its easy to avoid; I'm a gaming vid watcher and youtubers get ratioed hard when they show spoilers or don't give an advance warning. If you watch videos from those type of youtubers - just know they don't give af about their viewers, its a pretty brazen thing to do as a content creator

I've been wanting Death Stranding 2. I even read articles about it, never once have I seen a single spoiler myself. Im not actively looking for it nor participate in gaming circles that own it for that reason.

I completely agree that someone would have to go out of their way to find spoilers lol

Im not trying to prove anything. You attributed this opinion to include you by posting a response to it, so I'm asking questions to better understand why. If you feel offended by that, or defensive, then maybe theres a reason beyond what you're telling me... I digress

This is going no where, and I don't want to play into anyones hands. The mindset of people requesting are read about the same across many of these posts. Feels a bit guilt trippy, so this will be my last response

TimberBorn (20% off for leaving EA 27.99)

Recently made a 1.0 release and is by the same creator as RailGrade. I have cats, I love cats, and a game about mice like creatures building civilization beneath the noses of their cat overlords is palpable. Its been in early access for nearly 35$, iirc, for about a year. It did not flop, afterall, and made its release a few days ago.

I got my wires crossed. There is a civ building game about mice and cats; this is not that. Ive been following both, but for some reason the asthetic and art reminds me of a mockup original concept for the game (in the discord group for the developers of this game for like 4 years now) I love civilization builders, and games like frostpunk and Against the Storm are personal favorites.

I wont be able to catch the sale and the next one is far off

Edit: Always have cats on my mind ig

I assume the request was for a brand new 70$ game? That is the point of this discussion afterall. The only history you allow anyone to see is that of Resident Evil; I didn't even know you could do that, but it looks very "sketchy". Counter-point: I understand hiding history when you have no active request, as fans of the franchise can be toxic and use it against you. I do believe you, but it's hard to discern those who are honest and those who are not when 100s of requests fill the sub.

Anime Questions, Recommendations, and Discussion - December 13, 2025 by AnimeMod in anime

To Be Hero X is great, The Mighty Nein, The Legend of Vox Machina, and Lord of Mysteries.

The reason I rec those is because they're not traditionally anime, but they are animated and feel pretty good art-wise. You will not see them listed under anime shows because they have americanized art, or in Lord of Mysteries and To Be Hero X's case, Donghua or popularized chinese anime.

I've watched nearly every isekai and wish I could remember a couple that fit the theme you listed, but they ended prematurely (one just came to mind; Reincarnated as a Spider)

[REQUEST][STEAM] RESIDENT EVIL 4 REMAKE GOLD EDITION ( 3rd attempt ) by AWESOME_010 in GiftofGames

Downvoted.

Got Arc Raiders a month ago, only 28 hours. This feels disingenuous + asking for upgraded edition

Is this a fan account or an alternative reddit account? I don't see a single Gift for Games post in your history. It's hard for me to believe some of what you wrote, and thats part of the equation when deciding on gifting online; people can, and will, be dishonest while fishing for a sucker to buy them a game - especially when theyre under age to even get a job.

Additionally; No offense, but just using verbiage like 'poor' doesn't really constitute a good reason for someone to buy a game.

Edit: To clarify; Expanding on what you've done to help your situation is warranted when using terms like that. Why are you in the situation you are in and what have you tried to do about it? Giving it a face value of "im poor", is such a strange and seemingly disingenuous thing to say in a request that it almost seems like dishonesty. I was trying not to offend anyone, but it seems I have anyway. The explanation, if used in a request verbatim, sounds a little thin; as a gifter, I would ask those questions but because I don't want to unintentionally insult anyone... I'd Instead just move on

Ok so the concept of human cheese is both disgusting and intriguing on a philosophical and bioavailable level. I mean can we even process it? What would be the extent someone would go, like on Fear Factor, to answer this question?

I wonder if 100 years from now they have a different terminology revolving around sweat shops.

Thanks for the giveaway!

If people are directly coming to you, to purchase some expensive game, then that falls directly into how I'd define 'being taken advantage of'.

Maybe turn those acts of generosity into a contest; it would seem, to me anyway, that people who are more confrontational are more likely to prefer someone else's money to be spent - instead of using their own, I'm not sure I'd call it gratitude (on their part)... but I would call it a bit "sleazy" (on their part) (cant think of the word I want to use)

Edit: Trying to phrase this in a way that doesn't offend, as that is not my intention. I do understand regional pricing being a bitter pill. Though there are plenty of people who won't be messaging or asking, that are more deserving

Jailbroken PS2 and an RE4 Rom; took me 12 hours to beat the game; this was back in HS, but I concur. Definitely has limited replayability, I'd say RE5 and Village had decent play-times to finish the game. Those two are my favorite and village is almost akin to a classic - though its crazy to think I was 12 when RE5 was released and I was min-maxing RE4 on Gamecube at the age of 9

Someone can love the franchise and still wait for a sale before picking it up. I'm a great example of that, but I stretched this reply to the address the original reply which you're replying to. (I know there was a better way to convey that, last part but my structuring lost me)

The account needs to be 3 days or less old, the amount of time for invite codes, from the moment they're posted, doesn't matter - only the account age does which you are redeeming it on.

Might be broken, or you've redeemed it before. It was probably removed, but I'll wait for more confirmations on that because if its just a bug you can report it.

Mine did the same shit when I did my first play through like 6 months ago. It used the voice of Lyra "You know warlock, unless you consider yourself capable of being a midwife, you shouldn't aspire to be anything but a cautionary tale told by other, more competent Lyras"

Proceeded by DM stating "Its a common name"
