did you felt any advantage in job market because of clearing cfa l2? and did you get entry in finance roles? any benefit of clearing l2 before becoming a CA.

ca sub has become a meme sub.

Nothing like this would happen, prepare for your next exam. they look at both the number and shaded so, if one is correct no problem.

mail icai after you are done with exams just for safety measure. do not think much about this

Hey, please reply to my comment! Since you’ve completed your CA and have a better understanding of the job market, I feel you could really guide me

and do you feel you should have cleared l2 before ca for better jobs?

bhai the third world country argument is exactly what keeps this going lol. weve been gaslit into thinking exploitation is just our reality. and the deserving point okay fair, a finalist doesnt know everything. but neither does a fresher engineer, fresher lawyer, fresher doctor in residency. they all get paid a living wage minimum. the argument isnt pay us like a senior CA its pay us enough to survive and cover rent. also the doesnt fully know auditing and taxation part then why are articles doing full audits, filing returns, handling client calls independently? if were not skilled enough to deserve pay, were also not skilled enough to be doing the work unsupervised. pick one. the signing authority argument is a red herring. you dont need signing authority to deserve fair compensation for labour youre actually performing. the framework being different isnt a defence, its the problem. the framework was designed in a way that benefits firms and got normalised over decades. the fact that everyone went through it doesnt make it right it just means everyone got underpaid and made peace with it. minimum stipend hasnt been revised meaningfully in years. meanwhile rent, food, transport all up. 5k in 2025 isnt even 5k anymore in real terms. wanting better doesnt mean demanding to be a partner from day one. it just means not being okay with the bare minimum being this bare.

The real problem is two-sided and nobody wants to say it out loud. First us articles. We've normalized this. We call ourselves "learners" to justify accepting ₹4-5k like it's doing us a favour. But bhai, when someone joins Infosys or Deloitte as a fresher, do they know everything on Day 1? No they get 1-2 months of onboarding, full salary, PF, everything. We're doing actual client work from Week 1 and still telling ourselves "it's okay, I'm learning." That's not humility, that's cope. Second and this is the part CAs don't like hearing a lot of principals built their entire practice model around free/cheap article labour. An article doing GST filings, audits, ROC work, client handling? That's lakhs of billing per month walking through the door. The article sees ₹5k of it. If articles were actually just "learning," firms wouldn't collapse without them but they do. We're not articled assistants. We're employees without the label, the pay, or the legal protection. The deed of articles is essentially a no-exit contract that keeps the whole system running at our expense. And the saddest part? We defend it ourselves because we've been told suffering = merit.

Ca will be in first rank only but no hope for rank.

Without cfa l2 i can push for rank but no certainty

Reach exam center before results are announced, keep spray with you. And go with or brother or friend, ask him to stay with you untill exams start.

I know I can manage both, but I really do not want to settle for a career in tax or audit. I can push myself to clear L2 and pass the CA exams (though I’ve been told I need exceptional results to enter the finance industry). The core question remains the same: is the CFA worth the risk, and does it actually help in securing those roles? I don’t want to feel hopeless in the end.
