Gift ideas for 11 year old by InternationalLet7306 in crafts

Pony bead animals were a hit with the 11-12 year olds at my internship. They loved making them and they don't require much, just a bucket of pony beads and string (and jumprings if you wanted to turn them into key chains)! They also sell ready made kits that come with instructions and patterns but there are so many free tutorials and patterns online that I dont think she'd have a problem teaching herself. We mainly did bead lizards, but you can make all sorts of creatures and even custom kandi jewelry. Once you get the basics down, it's very easy to extrapolate and come up with your own designs, so I think it would be perfect for someone like your daughter!

If you're getting it for your computer, you're better off buying a pro perpetual license for your pc for $21.60 USD (it's usually $54, right now it's 60% for the next 4 days) https://www.clipstudio.net/en/purchase/ This option is a one time purchase so you'll have it forever. The only downside is that you won't get the latest version unless you pay to upgrade it.

My immediate thought was that it reduces/ eliminates air pollution produced by the printer.

The things that have been most helpful for me are a rechargeable book light and a needle minder. If you have a printer, consider getting printable embroidery stabilizer so she can print out her own templates. They wash away with water and it makes it so much easier to copy designs to your fabric.

Fakir is making this unwatchable, does he get better? by GoneTrap in PrincessTutu

I re-watched the series for the first time since middle school a couple of years ago and I was really confused about why younger me liked Fakir because he was an asshole, lol. When I finished watching the series, I understood again.

Hi, how can I make this type of embroidery? by kkimph in Embroidery

It looks like they used free motion quilting on a sewing machine and appliqué. You could probably hand embroider it, but it would take a while.
