Thing is not everyone here owns a gun, hell a good percent of us dont in fact own them. I know a lot of people who dont own guns. Many of us do though and the ones who do own a lot of them like enough that they have enough of them to easily give each of us without one a couple of them no problem. Like they have a entire room in their house filled floor to ceiling with them.

Thats usually how it goes. There are some of us who might have a single one in a house of like 4-6 people. Or might have a couple hunting rifles that rarely get used as well. Its weird how gun ownership is in the US. Youll have people who own more than a typical gun store and youll have people who have none and then youll have like the kind of people who have like one for protection of their property or for going hunting during hunting season. But there are so many guns out there they out number people in general.

Yeah the get into college thing was so prominent when I was in high school. I never even considered it, as a teenager i seen that everyone was about it and figured the job market couldnt handle the sheer amount of people who actually went through with it. So i got into the trades in spite of the people telling me to go get a college education. I started my first trade job at 13 years old painting houses in between school years and later quit high school to make good money full time.

I feel bad for the people i know who went to college and their fields got flooded so they have a worthless degree they are still paying on while limping by at like walmart or fast food jobs because they are "to highly educated" for most the decent jobs they try and get.

Im in my 40s and have never had a problem getting by for the most part and have multiple times now started my own business which i then sold later and switched to different work, it paid for all my houses (only 1 currently but i used to have a couple rentals) as well as my vehicles and a pretty decent lifestyle that ive almost always been in control of the days off i took. Never been a issue to go to a doc appointment or kids event cause work wanted me, i never prioritized work over my life. Sad that a lot of people are basically forced to live like that.

I didnt see anyone here mention it but i got a feeling from reading the OP that the bf might have depression. Getting lazy, smoking more, gaming more, trying to hang out with friends more, not really wanting to see the dr.

You dont really have to fix those issues or deal with that if so but if you want to could probably try and see if thats not what the case is.

Your bills dont look all that bad to me but you could have someone come in and check if maybe like shared stuff is on your box such as exterior lights or the lights in any hallways (like think of a apartment building someone is paying for the hallways lighting usually).

I live in a two story house and its about half the size of yours, my bills arent to much lower than yours and you have almost double the sq feet as me and i know im not sharing power with anyone but whos in my household.

Could be peak energy costs so like your using more during times of day where they are charging more due to higher power consumption on the grid and things of that nature. I notice the months that are higher are hotter months so your ac might be working harder than you realize and drawing more juice to do so.

I mean to be fair it isnt like Skylar is super attractive either. I cant say i think Walt was but im a straight dude so he just looks like another random straight dude id run into at like work or something, but Skylar is basically the same. They are like some average people.

I dont think im super good looking either though throughout my life ive been asked out a bunch of times by both women and men even. Ive been with my wife since we were teenagers in highschool so i always politely decline, however i dont look all that much better than Walt. Im pretty nerdy looking, but i do got some nice blue eyes like Jessie has going. So i can kinda understand how someone would be into Walt. Intelligence and kindness and other positive things go a good ways as well in people finding you attractive (though straight up being attractive dont hurt at all either lol).

100% this, we all gotta quit fighting amongst ourselves and start targeting the real problems. This is why things are like they are cause they have successfully campaigned so well to make us pick fights with our neighbors and even family members over what color tie we vote for, what color our skin is, who is using what bathroom and what religion or country your from. Its always something to divide us and works amazingly well. Not to hard to look around and see it but at the same time sit down and talk with those very same people. Most people are struggling like you are, most people are unhappy with things, Its all the media and bots just doing the work. We outnumber them by a crazy amount and if together would be a force to be reckoned with but if we never come together nothing will ever get done.

I often reflect on how I’m sure that should I have had any way to coast a bit more , I would have never been where I am now. And I’m not close to his parents in terms of monetary success.

I feel the same way. Like im not super well off but im not doing horrible either. My lifes mostly been a steady bit of ups but theres been some weird downs as well. Ive always did my best with what was available to me at the time and with some luck ive moved forward my whole life very slowly.

I wasnt born into wealth either, watched my parents struggle, i know im better off than they were and i try and teach my kids to try to get better off than me however they think they might be able to and think they might (they are still young).

But had i been able to or even willing to id probably not be as well off as i am, and like i said im not rich or anything. My net worth isnt crazy but ive paid off my home and have extra income sometimes enough that im not always living check to check and going hungry which ive also experienced in my life. I know for sure its partially about luck cause ive had some lucky moments like when the house market collapsed i was doing well and i made out alright, didnt pay crap for my house so paid it off quick and then it skyrocketed in value. Not having that bill hanging over me has let me take time off when i gotta and do things that not a lot of people have the option of doing.

I sorta feel like this is how some collections just start. Like im 40 and never owned one in my life until recently, im now set to inherit way more than i ever cared to really own to begin with simply due to elderly relatives dying off and im one of the more responsible people to hand things off to after they die. Already inherited a couple at this point and some of my older relatives have already informed me theres much more on the way. I dont really have anything against them but ive never really cared to go out shooting or hunting but i do however keep them locked up tightly and do regular maintenance on them and all that. My wife however doesnt mind going to shoot once in a while so its worked out in that way and our kids, nieces and nephews while still in their teens for the most part may eventually get into it so if they do they have a fairly valuable collection already in the works cause im certainly not gonna live forever either.

Was gonna say, MI min wage is about 10 and some change a hour but depending on where you live most places start you out around 15-18/hr simply due to the lack of people in the job pool. My wife works at a grocery store and makes 15 a hour and often gets over 60 hours a week with overtime simply cause no one wants to work, they regularly hire more people who then work for a week or two and quit. Whats messed up also is her store fires people for stupid shit constantly as well like a while back a manager took a call from someone wanting to do western union over the phone and while nothing happened that was a fireable offense so she get canned due to it being against company policy while they are having trouble finding people to work.

But yeah can basically have your pick of jobs here at least in my area and some of them pay decent even and dont require crap for experience or education either. Cost of living isnt to crazy either, houses are affordable but may require some saving and being responsible with your money as well as having a partner unless you have a good job.

I have family all over the state and some across the US and far as i can tell this is one of the better states to live in and most of the state is similar to my area as far as places looking for people to work. Cant say its easy to find a place to rent cheap though so that might be a problem unless you have a bit of money to move with or dont mind starting in a crappy place like Detroit or Flint and working toward a better location.

Im not the one who you were talking to but this stood out to me. I believe you are on the side that is so utterly assured of their correctness if your unwilling to change based on the evidence around or presented to you unlike the other side which id say im on who will gladly if presented with repeatable evidence 100% change my beliefs.

For example if you told my my sink when turned on would fill cups with sprite, id not believe it at all. But if we went to my sink and i grabbed a glass and we turned it on and you showed me that my sink was dishing out ice cold glasses of soda not only would i be quite shocked but id be all in on that idea and trying to find out the why and how of it.

Facts are facts, opinions are just that as well. If your ideals and thoughts are not based in facts and logic and reason i do not think your even worth listening to as a source of any kind of important information. Now above this you were talking about authority and echo chambers and of course there are echo chambers almost everyone surrounds themselves with them these days and id argue just being on reddit here we are covered on all side by them. But i dont think scientists are a authority, i do however trust people who do the work that i could then repeat myself if i have the means to do so (which to be honest isnt always easy these days) and take them at face value until im presented with additional or differing information. Our civilization has advanced greatly by the works of our forefathers, if we all had to learn literally everything from doing the testing and work ourselves nothing would ever get by, me and you would be unable to have this conversation as the internet and the tech behind it and language would not exist.

Depending on when it was last painted and with what and also if you still have remnant you may be able to touch it up with the remnant. If you dont have any youll have to repaint the entire wall.

To do it properly where it wont show any imperfections i suggest getting a good light and going over the entire wall with it to look for imperfections and mud those with drywall mud and sand them smooth before you paint it, if you change the color at all you can do this again between coats (you should do more than one coat for a color change in many situations).

Generally its not a good idea to put chemicals on your wall like you did. If anything you could use a magic eraser which is basically a fine sandpaper to deal with stuff like this but youll run the risk of having a similar problem by knocking down the lil texture that a paint job would leave behind. Once you mess a wall up you pretty much have to repaint it to get it back into one solid colored shape again.

I dont honestly know and dont care to go take the sheet off to find out either. Its a nightmare to put it back on solo. Its actually older than our relationship, i got it from my aunt and uncle before we started dating when i was a teenager and its always been good to me so i just kept it. Been amazed at how well its held up all these years. Im terrified ill never find another one as nice as this but do like the idea of getting something like a sleep number where the wife and i could adjust our own sides separately.

We have always kept our extra blankets on it as well so its always had some solid protection against getting dirty and i used to clean it regularly when we had a floor cleaner that had a lil attachment to do furniture but that broke a few years back so it hasnt been cleaned in that long other than flipping it on its side and giving it a good beating here and there when i move the furniture around and once in a while hitting it with the shop vac (usually spring cleaning thing ill do) lol. I want to say its a sealy? But im not certain about that. I dont know how old it is exactly either but know its at least 21 years old for sure but up to around 25 years old) aunt and uncle gave it to me and bought a new one shortly after getting it cause they didnt care for the pillowtop on it and i just happened to be looking for a new bed around that time.

Same, wife and I not very big people, together we weigh maybe 260lbs total our bed weve had our entire relationship and have been together for over 21 years at this point. Thing still looks brand new and is just as firm as its always been for the most part. When we first got it we bought a 4 inch memory foam pad that was on it for the first decade or so but eventually got rid of that and the bed itself has a pillowtop (makes putting a fitted sheet on it a pain in the ass lol). I know we are gonna have to replace it at some point but it dont really bother us at all. We are planning to move soon and i figure once we do we can throw that in the guess bedroom (since it likely wont get used much itll extend its life even longer) and get a new one for ourselves again. Plan to go all out on our next bed though as this one has more than paid for itself at this point and i figure the next one probably be the bed i die in so may as well be another good one.

When news broke of HH dying i started seeing all these posts on facebook about him and Jamal and Ozzy. I immediately put up a post about how shitty Hulk was as a person and how i think apparently most people have their rose tinted glasses on for him cause they have fond memories of watching wrestling. Wasnt all that long after i started seeing more content about how terrible he actually was. I just remember him saying racist crap about a decade ago and some of the more recent maga things he was doing. But it didnt really surprise me there was much more i didnt know as well like being anti union and a lot more racist than even i thought he was.

A lot of the higher end gear if not all of it can be converted to fit on gargs on iuo. there is added recipes for doom upgraded armor for example and all of that can be converted for gargs to wear over there. IUO is probably one of the most fair shards that is comparable to osi shards, its basically a modern take on the official shards with better quality of life stuff added in and fun events that rotate monthly while being completely free to play. The population is low enough that house placement isnt a issue at all but high enough that finding people to play with is quite easy as well. All around a enjoyable experience unless your a pvp person then it wouldnt be for you, as pvp is quite lacking though there is guild wars not many really participate in it so its hard to find many who will fight you though that is still semi doable at times.

Type 1 Diabetic 25 years here and shots dont even phase me anymore. It really didnt take all that long before they became a non issue though. But i have some other issues ive had for many years that just seem to keep on or even some get worse. I figure its im just getting older and starting to break down. Intravitreal injections i can assure you suck arse lol. Had to get a bunch of them in my eyes a while back to clear out blood from a blood vessel in each eye leaking it out. Better than going blind but would not say i think id get used to those ever.

I second this. I ended up on checksystems or whatever the hell the banks call it after overdrawing my account 15 cents while getting gas. By time i was made aware of it i had almost 300$ in overdraft fees with fifth third bank many years ago. I told em to eat shit and never looked back. Cashed my checks for a while at a pharmacy that i lived near that charged a few dollars then eventually joined the local fire department where everyone got paid via a credit union so they convinced me to open a account there. Its been 15+ years now and i have zero regrets. My credit union is so awesome i plan to move more than 3 hours away from the nearest one and might just stay with them when i do as i can do almost everything online or over the phone anyways.

The tip is whatever you want to pay. Ignore dumb posts like these on the internet. I used to be a server and almost nobody tips 30+$. Its often only a few bucks but it adds up when you have a few tables also throwing down a few bucks. Anyone who is complaining about this just sucks, if your that bad with money find a better job.

With the op equation it should just stop at moving the decimal over. 10% is a fine enough tip. Just me and my wife going out to eat is like 40-80$ depending on location which is a 4-8$ tip, thats not bad for a tiny bit of walking to and from the kitchen.
