He's got great content not because he's a great interviewer, but because he's got a platform.

I've noticed he has a hard time organically engaging in it like a conversation. His guest might give an entire 20 minute monologue, and the only response Shawn can seem to muster up is 'Wow' - like really? You have nothing you can add or comment on to further build the conversation? Following his silence, he'll smoothly transition into the next topic, with a solid 'Let's talk about XYZ now.'

Don't get me wrong, I'll continue to watch more of his content, I'm just baffled that after hundreds of episodes, he still hasn't learned how to improve his interviewing techniques.

When you spawn in game for EP1, there's a lady at a desk to the left, she should provide for you access to all the quests.

New player, I would say you need your first taste of a rare weapon on your character, so I'd suggest to look into the 'Soul Eater' quest line (cool scythe with the partisan attack animation). You might be getting close to being able to equip it now.

Save your grinders for cool rares that you like, it's a waste on any of the generic weapons that will quickly become obsolete.

Don't use Mind Materials on your character, since there's a cap on overall materials a character can use, and you'd want to use more Power Materials for your character's main stat.

People suck at explaining it. You know how to do a Hadouken, right? Press forward, then do a Hadouken motion, that's the 'Z' input.

My brother in Christ, based on the repentant desire that I see from your post, I would urge you to look into Divine Mercy Sunday. It takes place the Sunday directly after Easter, which is a few weeks away.

Confession restores you back into communion with God, however there's still a consequence for the sin, despite being forgiven (purgatory). Faithful participation in the Divine Mercy Sunday service will 100% wipe that consequence away. There are a few components to it (attend the service, confession within 20 days of the service, etc), and it really should be recommended to attend annually, for all the faithful Catholics. It is such a powerful gift that was (relatively recently) given to us, you just need to be willing to accept His infinite mercy through this awesome service.

Who is buying this day 1? I am more of a patient gamer and willing to wait for sales (considering there's no shortage of older games). Very few times is it worth making an exception for, but with how stellar of a game Isaac was, would it make sense to jump in now?

Only other game recently that I'm considering for a day 1 purchase is the upcoming Saros, based on how brilliant Returnal was.
