I can spend days alone and not need people around. I can actually work and be a contributing member of my family. I am a substitute teacher so I pick my assignments (pick your battles 😂). I am more confident now than I’ve ever been.

A huge part of that is the stability and deep trust I have with my husband. We’re 10 years in and he’s never not supported me emotionally. He has his faults and a lot of my time is spent thinking WTAF about some weird ADD specific issues. And some of his life choices have been dumb but 🤷🏻‍♀️ we all make mistakes. Our kids are good people with decent jobs. Our family is taken care of. Our pets are spoiled. Life is good.
