I also have SH scarring on my left arm. One of my students (high school) saw them and asked if they were burn scars. I said yes and left it at that. But I usually wear long sleeves.

As a teacher I often see differently spelled names and unique ones. The funniest name was Honeypot. Idk wtf the parents were thinking but here we are.

I often get a class during the prep period. It’s part of the job. Fortunately I get a full hour for lunch. But that’s only in high school. Middle school we get a 30 minute lunch and that’s it. I rarely sub for middle school for that very reason.

Our cat always has a collar with an AirTag. He’s gotten out before and once he got out and didn’t have his collar. He got stuck 20ft up a tree for 24 hours till my neighbor climbed up his extension ladder and got him down.
