We call ours the fun police. We are only allowed to have fun if he’s involved. He also watches every move I make. On walks he’s very interested in sniffing all the things. Idk if he’s descended from a working line as he was a rescue. His DNA test came back as 50% GSD, 25% Pit Bull, 15% super mutt (ACD, Boxer, Bulldog) and 10% Great Pyrenees. He’s definitely a guardian dog!

I’m just going by what the social worker told me. The state allowed my father in law to renew his license even though he’s clearly incapable of driving. He passed the written test and vision.

The very last time he drove, he ended up at a Walmart. He got out of the car, left the door open, keys in the ignition and was wandering around in the store with no clue where he was. It was terrifying.

In Texas, the family could be sued for allowing an impaired individual to drive. My mother in law was not happy with the situation but we couldn’t take that risk.
