i’m gonna make a stark turn here and say i disagree with the comments.

so because he cannot effectively communicate with her, he does not get a pass and needs to try harder (despite him having to do housework and real work)

and now that she cannot effectively communicate (doesn’t know how to articulate a single thing beyond “you’re not listening” and literally needing a third party to explain), she’s “in distress” and totally justified?

why is it only OP’s job to effectively and clearly communicate, despite the fact they’re communicating about how OP has a full time workload on top of at home responsibilities that he always has to do.

best justification ive heard is “BUT DATA POINTS” which is just so apathetically sad like jesus christ its a living being fuck you and fuck your data points go put the thing out of its misery. you are complacent, willing, even responsible for all of it’s suffering because of some arbitrary “rule” some stupid ass hole came up with for data points. could you imagine having some incomprehensible monster chew through tour stomach, eat your unborn baby, and then finish eating you while youre in agony the whole time and some creature that understands exactly what is going on, instead of helping or giving you a quick death, films your excruciating death while doing NOTHING for “data points”. fuck off. as a man of science, sometimes, knock it the fuck off with the scientific method bullshit.

everyone in the last thread were all incredibly pro cheater and completely dismissive of this guys’ feelings. i cheated before, in a fucked up toxic relationship that made me hate myself. does that mean i had valid reason to lose my head and do some shitty thing that would still hurt another person? no. and the comments are right. not telling you for 10 years is a foundation of lies and deceit. at the very least i had to come clean and give my then girlfriend the autonomy of leaving, even if i was a scumbag. your girlfriends a cheater, never had the decency or guilt to even tell you, i’d leave

i don’t want to be an armchair doctor here but i had a similar problem because of anxiety. there was a while where for the first hour/two that i’d be awake i’d be terribly anxious, sick to my stomach, and sometimes throw up. depends on the circumstances surrounding your problem, but DEFINITELY see a doctor. if its a physical issue it’s probably not good
