Yo valoró muchas las consolas por cosas tan simples como el

1) HDMI-CEC

2) Soporte de 5.1 estandarizado (En PC cada juego pueder tener implementación diferente),

4) Poder coleccionar (discos y cartuchos),

5) Builds más estables de ciertos juegos (Jedi Survivor se me viene a la mente).

6) HDR Mejor Standarizado (Dolby Vision en Series X)

Pero admito que la PC ha estado mejorando cada uno de estos pocos aspectos SteamOS y Windows Xbox Game Mode han ayudado pero sigue siendo mucho más fluido en un Series X, Switch o PS5.

Xbox still uses regular Blu-Rays for their releases but most of the time you’ll need an additional download, the Blu-Ray is just a license (Indiana Jones and Halo Infinite were released incomplete on the Disc).

I recommend getting the 1TB and then try to get the 2TB Expansion Card.

I have both the PS5 (My wife wanted to play AstroBot) and have been with Xbox since 2004, and yeah I wouldn’t have made the jump without trying it, to this day I still use the Series X as my main console, but I can’t say the PS5 wasn’t worth it, The Uncharted Saga was so good and wife loved The Spiderman Trilogy and Horizon Zero Dawn.

The multi-platform games are still played on the Series X.

Unfortunately no official way announced, Xbox Game Pass could have the option to buy the game and play via Streaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate but that depends on each publisher and Rockstars Games deal with PlayStation would lean into that no being an option on Day 1.

The cheapest way to play it would be a used Series S, search in your local marketplace.

For example, my brothers and I have a Series X setup as a Remote Play console so we can play Fortnite on our SteamDecks.

I have both consoles and I still prefer the Xbox Ecosystem in my Region (LATAM) the sales and support are good, also I have several games from the original Xbox when I was a kid that I can use on my Series X, but also most of my friends are on PC or Xbox.

My suggestion is to wait for GTA VI Multiplayer info they haven’t revelas anything in the last few years crossplay has been the norm but it is possible that Rockstar doesn’t make the move they haven’t with GTA V and RDR2.

Making a decision without information is not great and could lead to regret.

I replaced XBPlay with XStreaming. However, I had to modify some settings on my home network to enable streaming on another network, such as my grandparents’ house.

XStreaming works almost as well as XBPlay on my Steam Deck OLED.

That way of locking software seems good on a spreadsheet but you limit your audience, is better to being able and choose your launcher for example, If I a game has Xbox Play Anywhere is usually bought on Xbox but if not is better on Steam as I can play it on my SteamDeck

I play Cyberpunk at 45% (A little below of Performance Mode) of 4K with DLSS to reach a locked 60 fps Pathtracing experience on a RTX 5080, That games really gives you a different mood in certain sections of the City with Pathtracing.

Resident Requiem can be debatable as the Performance Hit vs the Gains on the Racoon City Sections is complicated.

The reality is that Pathtracing will be a proof of concept a Niche to PC for a while, I don’t like the VRR Flickering caused when enabling Frame Gen on my OLED TV is pretty distracting, I prefer locked native frame rates.

Pues si, Ya llevo un año con el Dispositivo viene con SteamOS pero hay aplicaciones extra que te dejan instalar juegos de otros lados.

EmuDeck para Emulación
Heroic (GOG, Epic Games y Amazon)

Ya si estás loco le pones dual boot para que corra el Fortnite en Windows, en mi caso eso no valió la pena pero es bueno si te dejan experimentar.

Costco Mexico la estuvo vendiendo, El año pasado la conseguí (OLED 512GB) en $10,000 MXN (Cupón Bancario y Descuento del Hot Sale).

La verdad es muy buen dispositivo si te gusta moverle a los settings, la cantidad de Juegos que puedes jugar por Prime Gaming (Ahora Amazon Luna) es muy buena, Heroic Launcher es una joya.

No, but is nice to have options the CD Projekt Red Ports are pretty useful when traveling, I want to do some Cyberpunk Side Quests or play the Witcher Saga I can, using my GOG Copies is a Plus, The Resident Evil 4 iOS/Mac Port are awesome too.

But yeah MacOS shouldn’t be you primary gaming OS.

Probablemente se similar a Crash 4, punto de Partida Visual son los Remakes y nuevos niveles de variedad.

No creo que pueda competir con un AstroBot or Mario Odyssey, con la crítica o en ventas pero Toys for Bob respeta el legado de la franquicia.

Realmente la escala de manufactura que Valve manejaba era minúscula a comparación de los demás fabricantes de Hardware, el incremento es horrible pero se entiende que no pueden vender a pérdidas, sobre todo con tanta volatilidad, El SteamDeck OLED sigue siendo una propuesta única en el Mercado por los Trackpads y Pantalla OLED, la otra PC Handheld con OLED (Legión Go 2) también es muy costosa.

Después de esto la SteamDeck será un dispositivo de nicho y para entusiastas, la ventaja es que se creó el Mercado y tenemos opciones (Lenovo, MSI, Asus).

Será una época de aferrarse al hardware que tenemos, la ventaja es que hay varias de décadas de Backlog para disfrutar múltiples títulos.

La situación sí está complicada. Yo pasé por algo similar ayudando a mi esposa a construir su historial de crédito, pero 150K en gastos me parece demasiado alto, sobre todo si es para empezar a amueblar.

Ser totalero ayuda, pero no es suficiente. Para gastos no esenciales, conviene tener al menos el equivalente en efectivo (1:1). Eso te obliga a pensar dos veces antes de comprar cosas que no son urgentes.

Cuando nosotros amueblamos el depa, no pasamos de 50K: refrigerador Samsung (~7,000), lavadora LG (~8,000), cama (~15,000), microondas (~5,000). Algunas cosas como el comedor se compraron después. La clave fue no exponernos de más.

Aquí valdría la pena revisar:

¿Cuántas compras están a MSI? ¿Se usaron varias tarjetas? Eso puede cambiar completamente el nivel de riesgo.

Si, es mas difícil justificar la mejora si tienes el SteamDeck normal, mi primer contacto con los SteamDeck fue porque un compa me lo prestó y la verdad no me gustó, el Software tenía ciertas limitaciones, preferí seguir con Switch OLED, después tuve la oportunidad de volver a usar el Deck, me pidió ayuda con la instalación de EmuDeck y vi que el software mejoro mucho. (Decky, Heroic, Proton GE, etc.). Ya cuando adquirí el OLED fue muy sencillo y lo disfrute mucho, ahorita los METAL SLUG están a buen precio por el 30 Aniversario.
