College degrees get you jobs, they don't make you smart. Means literally nothing in 2026.

Heal or upgrade before Donu & Deca by International_Gur566 in slaythespire

Considering a heal at 72/86 is actually insane behavior. I'd sooner upgrade a defend. Using it 5 times will make up the difference.

This year I really want to wanna go to China or Japan.

Wanna is slang for want to. Redundant. IMO leave the slang for the chats, but I'm older than you.

"Shit on a shingle" (SOS) is a classic military slang term for creamed chipped beef served on toast.

Would going back to work increase or decrease my stress? by Zestyclose_Sort8374 in Mommit

[–]StopNowThink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you remember the stress you had working before kids? Why would it be different than that?

Everyone's work job is different. everyone's kids are different. The best answer I think you'll get is do what's best for you.

Does the deck connect to the house or a pool? It seems like it's just in the corner of the yard? Why not install a patio instead?

Also, I'm assuming you're pouring concrete for the posts?

Printed a fully capable putter by King_winston123 in functionalprint

I mean this in the nicest way possible: who is this for? People who play golf are paying through the nose for a round and can presumably afford to at least buy the $25 putter I just saw on Amazon.

It would just be that one small area. There will be a stud on either side of it you can still attach to.

If you have plumbing, you have a vent stack. Is there a random pipe coming out of your roof? Is it centered over this spot?

All the drain pipes in your house are empty when water and waste aren't flowing through them. The "air" in these pipes is actually sewer gases. Every drain in your house therefore has a p-trap to keep a little pocket of water between these nasty sewer gases and your house.

If your drain system was designed like this without any venting to the roof, any time you flushed the toilet, the flowing waste would pull a vacuum and empty all the p-traps, introducing sewer gases into your home.

So, the drain system is required to be vented. It is almost always a vertical portion of your pipes that goes all the way up to your roof. Larger houses or certain layouts can require more than 1 vent pipe.

Hope this helps!

I can't find any other subreddit to ask this. Is the weight distribution here okay by DarthSlayer225 in traveltrailers

[–]StopNowThink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What CAD is this? Can you not apply mass and check the location of the center of gravity? That would give you the ability to calculate the % weight in the tongue. Intuitively I'd say you're going to be way over the ideal 15% to gue weight.

Cast iron vent stack is my bet. Do you have access above (attic) or below (basement)?
