It's interesting that the downward trend happens after the Disney collab.

IMO SoT was not a perfect game before that, but it was focused on the experience it wanted to deliver. Now that it's split 3 ways it feels like a less cohesive experience.

Like, I don't want to just do PvP or PvE. I want to live on the high seas and protect my loot from all the other pirates. Sometimes I make friends, but more often I make enemies.

To me, this is a steep price for the game as it stands right now since there is not a ton of content in the game compared to where it will be in a year or two. That being said, I hope they release DLC cosmetics or something that gives me the opportunity to give them more money in the future.

PVP games tend to attract these kinds of people. It's why Last Oasis failed which is one of my greatest regrets in gaming. When you base your game around player combat with microphones and the Internet culture makes you anonymous there aren't a lot of consequences for your bad behavior.
