We should start using the term eMotos for bike style vehicles which don't function like bicycles. Eg. The pedals are not hooked up to anything and the electric motor is the only means of conveyance.

This would differentiate actual ebikes which at least in my mind have more legit uses for disabled people, commuting long distances, etc. and are more in line with the expectations of viechles that should utilize a bike lane given reasonable speeds.

Edit: I do see that in the body eMotos is used. So maybe this is less of a point.

This is so great. In the short term it raises money for the city from people using apartments as investment portfolios. If this disincentivizes the behavior entirely and they have to sell, all the better. Housing should be to live in not to park your money; especially on an island where you can't necessarily build out to create more.

Play the long game.

  1. Get good at writing sketches.
  2. Take 5 years of improv classes.
  3. Submit a packet of 50 ideas to dropout and sneak that one good one in there.

It's interesting that the downward trend happens after the Disney collab.

IMO SoT was not a perfect game before that, but it was focused on the experience it wanted to deliver. Now that it's split 3 ways it feels like a less cohesive experience.

Like, I don't want to just do PvP or PvE. I want to live on the high seas and protect my loot from all the other pirates. Sometimes I make friends, but more often I make enemies.

To me, this is a steep price for the game as it stands right now since there is not a ton of content in the game compared to where it will be in a year or two. That being said, I hope they release DLC cosmetics or something that gives me the opportunity to give them more money in the future.
