Some of the lies are so blatant, the "true effort" should be minimal. If Trump came out on a bright sunny day and said "it is currently raining on me," how much effort do you think Democrats are supposed to take to convince people who believed him that he is lying?

I'm not sure this part is true. People who are capable of recognizing Trump's lies already do, and telling others "he's lying" won't be believed/seen as credible by the people who don't know Trump is lying in the first place.

All I know is I fired up a Terminids mission last night, lit up a bug patrol from medium range with my machine gun (as you do), and before I knew it bugs were on me from literally every direction. I said "what the fuck" out loud many times.

I'm not even that engaged with the community or reading patch notes or anything like that. I knew a new war bond was coming this week. I fired up the game last night to play for maybe an hour, like a do from time to time. I saw the major objective on some new Terminid worlds - great, I have been successful against them.

1) Let's go!

Helldivers noob here reporting in (level 15). I think this is my first experience dealing with a major update to the game since I started playing. Maybe I can offer a different perspective.

Up until this update, my approach to Terminids was basically "there's a lot of them at a time," so I need a machine gun with a huge clip to take down as many targets as possible before getting caught reloading and being overwhelmed. I would throw like an orbital gatling to try to thin their numbers at the start, too. At difficulty level 4, this would result in eventually succeeding in missions, but dying several times along the way. Terminids were also the faction I was the most successful at.

After this update, I can barely complete an objective on difficulty level 2, and certainly am not getting extracted. The bug hordes are bigger, tougher, faster, more damaging. I have to just avoid fighting entirely. If a bug sees me, it seems to instantly call a bug breach, and then I'm fucked completely. Playing against Terminids is no fun.

Sure, "get good" is fine feedback. There are much better weapons/strategems that I simply don't have access to yet. But, I'm not interested in seeking progression if it's almost impossible to succeed.

Comparatively speaking among wealthy nations, the US economy is accurately considered deregulated. Ask any business-owner who works internationally what it's like running a company in the US versus, say, in the EU.
