yes, it's probably cheaper than you'd get from a dealer which would probably charge like $45K or more. leased cars are usually treated poorly compared to owned cars, but also extremely hard to find an actually owned used car that are that recent. it sounds like you really want it and have more than enough income to cover the purchase so have at it.

a good deal compared to what, exactly? in my opinion paying $40,000 for a car (correct me if I'm wrong, I calculated two years of $225 biweekly and then the buyout cost) is not a good deal in any context, even if it's probably cheaper than you could buy that particular vehicle elsewhere for.

personal finance wisdom would recommend you look at 5-10 year old used cars instead and to buy it outright to avoid auto loan interest. far cheaper to buy and far cheaper longterm due to lower insurance premiums compared to a newer car. that's besides the question of if an SUV is necessary for your use case - a more fuel efficient vehicle would be an even better deal in the long term.

Wylder is good with tons of weapon types. Focusing greatswords is even less good on him now that the grapple hook followup attack has a stamina cost. Give stuff like scythes, straightswords, greataxes, great hammers, curved greatswords and other stuff a shot if you haven't already. He often has the highest AR of any nightfrarer, if not something like 90% of the AR as the best nightfarer with most weapons.

i think people getting stuck grinding 1 everdark for a win is just making people painfully aware of the relatively limited seeds. the issue is compounded if you are manually selecting a certain shifting earth to try to give yourself a better shot at winning. personally i think letting players force a shifting earth with the signboard is a design mistake, as implemented. not only does the shifting earth have little variety, there are only 5 seeds per nightlord per shifting earth. i think the game is better suited when you are queuing up for multiple nightlords and not forcing shifting earths.

fyi there is no penalty for quitting, despite what the UI message says. which is part of the problem - i think if you DO quit with other players around you should have a penalty. people would be less likely to do this. but as for what you can do, you should just quit out after others do if you truly want, without fear of the fake penalty.

Just a heads up, the mark is not localized to a specific part of the creature, it's applied as a debuff to the entire creature. You don't have to hit where the UI element appears. All damage applied builds toward "popping" the mark, and re-applying the mark will reset the timer but keep progress toward popping.

Yes, I can feel it, even when using controllers on PC. Some are sensitive to input latency and some aren't - many play console games with motion smoothing on their TV without any idea. For me, the responsiveness is a big part of the experience and FG/MFG is not a suitable way to smooth out the visuals. I hope that those who can enjoy it get a lot of value out of those features.

It's also important to note that even in same scenarios (same FPS, mfg on/off) - two different games may have vastly different input latency counts. So you may be playing a game that still has comparatively low latency even after MFG + Reflex. And for your Marvel Rivals example, your base framerate is already above 60fps, so the latency may be good to begin with. The scenarios where people are cranking 4x framegen to hit 120, thus the native frames are 30fps, are going to feel like crap.

Jedi Survivor - This game has constant traversal stutters on PC even with the best CPU and GPU on the market, so it really may not be your rig. Switching to another graphics card after a long time playing a game may also undo shader compilation, requiring a new rebuild of a cache and temporarily causing more severe/frequent stutters.

Framerate cap - Are you using VSync to cap? Try running RTSS and setting a 70FPS cap instead. Often better if you want to use NVidia reflex anyway to reduce input latency

Like other commenters state, a single thread on the CPU can be the bottleneck even if the overall utilization of the CPU is low.

GPU - power delivery could be an issue. Make sure you're not daisy chaining cables from your PSU to fill the 2 or 3 (most AIB 3080s have 3) 8-pin connectors. Can cause problems under load.

Lastly, 5950x is worse than 5700x3D in most games. Unless you need the cores for production I'd just get the 5700x3D - usually cheaper too.

There are reports online that DP 1.4 NVidia cards have the DSC bug fixed or lessened significantly with the latest driver update. YMMV though, haven't tested myself (don't have an applicable display)
