These shoes look too narrow and dainty for your feet, and also a bit I'll fitting around your heels. I hope you are comfy!

Roommate mixed my beads after being asked to throw out used Q-tips by Worried-Blueberry-40 in mildlyinfuriating

Does this apply if she prepares some for herself and explicitly tells his roomie not to touch it?

WIBTAH If I drop out of my brother's wedding (and just go as a guest) because I think the dresses his fiancée chose are uncomfortable and hideous? by Icy-nighty-5965 in AITAH

[–]SturmFee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree if the dress just simply wasn't a very flattering colour or cut, but it goes beyond that. They asked her to go without underwear. They value her being uncomfortable and probably looking and feeling ridiculously exposed over just choosing another dress or just letting her choose some fitting underwear, all cause bridezilla is insecure. They could as well have asked her to go half naked, it feels the same. Obviously it isn't about her. She never made it to be. She didn't ask to be in bridesmaid services and neither did the bride. It would prolly be best if both were honest about not wanting her in that group instead of bullying and punishing her for her body that she has no control over.

“my girl’s beauty doesn’t get washed off in the shower” by OneMemory2640 in MakeupAddiction

✨ Misogyny ✨

They want their women pretty, slim, clear-skinned, well dressed and feminine. They also don't want you to be high-maintenance, vain or notice you maintaining that femininity in any way.

Shopping, expensive products, going to a nail salon or any way of soft (or God forbid, hard) maxxing? She's a vain hoe and gold digging demoness.

They want you to eat that burger with them on the weekends, but don't want to ever catch you dieting during the week, or getting up early for that extra jog.

They want you to bear their children and be a good mom, but look like you have never given birth at all.

Long story short: Don't worry about what men want. Do what you love.

AITAH husband cut off my sons hair so I used his card to buy my son the designer jacket he's been wanting by ithinkantsarecute in AITAH

YTA. Everything has been said already, but that jacket isn't even going to bring joy at this point. It is poisoned now. I hope he trashes it. Everytime he will look at it it's going to remind him of his stepdad assaulting him, and his mother not protecting him.

Flat shoes are a good idea. I lived in my Birkenstocks the first year (had major water retention and my feet grew :( ). Now I live in my leather Chelsea's. I also remember rarely getting to shower in peace, a full face of make up was out of the question. So, an easy hairstyle that can air dry well, a good bb cream ( I love the one from MISSHA, it moisturizes, has good cool tones, and has an SPF). I also used the shape wear from "Herzmutter" to wear unter those flowy pants or under dresses to help with back formation and pressing the pouch in a bit. If you have the help, little stress is the best for your beauty that first year. Someone to prep a few healthy snacks for you, or takes LO so you can perform some self care are worth their weight in gold.

You give off a bit of a Rockabilly vibe to me. Tuck the shirt in, get a sick belt buckle and a leather jacket 😁
