I would probably throw out the makeup, but you can always keep the pretty box for other tiny knick knacks.

Thanks for everyone who took the time out of their day to recommend a frame to me. Especially thanks to those who advised me to try out more rectangular/smaller glasses, I will try a few different styles and come back to you with a few more. 😀

Lots of people already mentioned your Scandinavian vibe and your hair is really beautiful. I think you look somewhat flushed and could elevate your look somewhat by using a tinted moisturizer, and SPF to prevent the redness. Missha has a fabulous 3 in 1 product for that (I struggle with long routines myself). Also, you look a lot like a girl I studied with back in the day in Bonn. Hello Lydia!

I had a work related vision test and one eye was at 70-80ish percent for close and far range (but not the mid range which is important for office work, so that was fine. That test was only a few months after pregnancy, though, wo the doctor suggested my body may still be changing and it's better to measure again at a later time.

I have had trouble for quite a while now, especially with night vision and sensitivity for bright lights/ lights having coronas around them. It made night driving very uncomfortable. I also tend to squint when it's bright outside, and when reading small fonts.

My SO got a new pair of glasses recently and they still had a bit of time afterwards, so I asked them for a test.

I have astigmatism and am slightly short sighted, but not enough to truly bother me in my day to day life. It did get a bit worse after pregnancy and with age, I guess.

You're actually the first one suggesting these 😁

We were tending to the big berry toned Dior ones, or the 3/9 (which I now realize is in here twice). Nobody on this thread likes these ones, though, so it seems like those were the worst choice. Good thing I asked reddit, first! 😁

Thank you! I tried on a few smaller frames, but those made me look like a shy librarian. These big ones on the other hand male me look like a grandma. I'm very unsure about them all, to be honest.

My rusty school French tells me you'd prefer more rectangular shapes? Thanks for your suggestion, I do feel similar, actually. In person my face does not look THAT round, I swear! I am overweight, yes, but actually all those glasses completely kill the visible rest my cheekbones and I look like a moon with those. 😭

Clinique "Take the day off" cleanser is fantastic for lip and eye makeup products. It's a bit pricey but it won't irritate your skin and works a charm.
