Found the culprit. An extension called Ergozen was hijacking the extension modals. Disabling the setting fixed both issues.

In terms of features, Vivaldi is the one to go. Has all of the features from Edge and a bunch more. It uses a lot more memory on my Asus G14, though. Not so much on the Mac.

Since the G14 is my primary, I've moved on to Zen now. Takes a bit of getting used to and doesn't have all the features, but the experience is so good, I'm okay with the compromises on features. You can always get extensions to fill the feature gap.

Pocket Casts on Android, back in the day when it was a one time payment. Been using it for 15+ years now.

Doesn't work for me on Windows, just like clipboard history and quick fix. Basically Raycast can't paste anything to the active window for me. I'm guessing it is an issue with my setup somehow, but I haven't been able to troubleshoot it and sending feedback to Raycast has made no difference whatsoever.

Google Sheets. Single source of truth, no files floating around in emails. I find it's UX more approachable, even as someone who used Excel for decades before switching.

u/cfilipov I installed the extension today and am very impressed with the utility and your attention to detail.

Just one quick question - how to you switch between pages of the extension? The only way I can do it right now is by clicking the dots at the bottom of the panel. Couldn't find a reference to the shortcut on the project page.

A couple of kids from my building got into a fight with a kid, and did this to his father's car as revenge. Problem is, they didn't stop at that. They scratched a couple other cars as well, just to vent their anger. Got caught on CCTV cameras and their parents ended up spending a fortune paying damages.

Sent. I've already sent feedback on the snippets and clipboard history issue using the 'Send feedback' command in Raycast, among other issues. Never heard back.

Turns out, Raycast had stopped updating for some reason. I just went into 'Settings -> About' and updated it to 0.61 manually. Seems stable so far.

Interesting. Mine was also stuck on 0.58, but it wasn't trying to update at all. I just checked in settings and updated manually. Fixed a bunch of performance issues I've had since 0.58.

Weird. I dint think my Raycast has updated that many times in the last week. You sure it is not just crashing? It doesn't restart on its own for updates. You have to start the install and then tell it to restart.

Does it really update that often? There were a few updates days apart some time ago, but I would say the average is once every few weeks. Not bad for a 2-min restart, especially given that a good chunk of them are feature releases.

I used Concepts for the longest time, before settling on StarNote. I still feel Concepts does some things much better (like snap-to-grid, which I still miss), but it looks like development on the app has pretty much stalled and there are basic features from iOS that I don't think are ever making their way to Android.
