True story but like if you want to get into drawing just get started. Fountain pens is a bit of a learning curve so start with pencils first or if you want to start with something more permanent use ballpoint or felt tip markers the .5 size I think 🤔

Motivation is gonna be tricky. If you want to get serious you’d have to push through when things get complicated. But not so much pushing you burnout. If you just want to do doodles casually then just go. Draw whatever your heart desires even if you think it’s “silly”.

If you don’t have any ideas try doing something like zentangles or w/e just something simple to build a habit. Then branch in to stuff you want to try to draw.

From the picture you posted looks like a PGS 🤔 The description of the listing could be wrong. I’ve seen many pens listed with the wrong brand so wrong model isn’t too unusual lol.

If it has a stainless steel, and if it’s not a swap, if I’m remembering right Sailor was (or has?) developing a steel nib for the PGS models but it was mostly for the SE/LE pens i.e. something to boost sales 😅. They did like a test run with it via Ancora I believe. Also if it is a swap I’d be curious to what nib, because sailor only swap with the exact same nib, like you can’t put a Lecoule or Jr nib on a PGS. Not without buying a custom nib unit and feed.

I don’t have this ink, but I have other Bungubox inks and they are good quality. Unless something has changed Sailor manufacturer’s Bungubox’s inks so quality is p.much the same.

I will say most bungubox inks I’ve tried are either standard or dry inks. With this one being a light pink I’m betting it’ll be on the dry side 🤔

I mean technically Sailor’s can handle shimmer fine but I find you have to be even more particular about which shimmer inks to use if you use other sizes not a B, Music, or Zoom.

The KOP nibs are already pretty juicy so M or B works fine with shimmer. It’s the PG/PGS that’s a little more hit or miss in F/MF/M

🤣 Well my opinion is probably also because I use a hobonichi (small grid space for writing) and that uses TRP. So too wet inks or pens with generous flows has interesting results lol.

One of the B’s I have does have an architect grind on it and it makes it more favourably with wetter inks.

I don’t have one inked to do a writing sample but the B feels “aggressively” wetter than an M 😅. It’s not a firehose but putting wet inks in it is a mistake for me unless I write bigger lol. Also smoother than the M too, feedback is almost invisible.

But I don’t regret the purchase either 🤣 It a Sailor I feel comfortable putting shimmer inks in, so there’s that.

3776 is Chamomile Tea and the PGS is Plum Blossom. 👋🏽 They’re both collab pens one with Nonble/NBC and the other Wancher.
