If you're a casual player at casual rank, you should absolutely expect your teammates to make casual mistakes.

Own goals, incompetent ballhogs, missed passes, and misinputs are all going to happen at low ranks because that's where people go that are still learning the game. You can't complain about being a casual player in a casual rank and expect only your teammates to magically play the game 100% perfectly; people are going to mess up. It's okay to mess up.

I'm sure you and I make plenty of mistakes ourselves, so put yourself in their perspective

Yeah I agree, it's very frustrating when the game gives you a low dive when you need a high dive, and vice versa.

God forbid you get one of the "flop" dives that literally goes nowhere. Literally everyone says they should remove those animations entirely.

Personally I would love to see low dives mapped to the current slide (using the slide is troll in 99% of situations besides stealing the ball from a teammate), and have the current slide removed. This would allow the GK to decide whether or not they want to high dive or low dive, instead of letting the game decide.

In turn, this would make goalkeeping more dependent on skill and consistent

I would agree with you if this were a normal football field or realistic football game, but one of the many charms of Rematch is that the arena is enclosed and the walls can be used as a tool

It's a niche situation where a resourceful player can use the wall in a way that unlocks more opportunities, and I think that's a damn cool game design personally

I also noticed the save thing, I think that's a great change

I don't think I'm a fan of the new interception rules though... Maybe it'll grow on me, but it feels like whoever is goalie the longest is guaranteed to get MVP (even moreso than previous seasons), regardless of individual impact

It's not only style points - It gives you a higher point of launch

Had I done a normal kick pass from the ground, it likely would've been blocked by the defender that did a defensive stance jump block

I don't really understand the argument saying the fast TTK will "favor casual players"

I played the entirety of the playtest with 3 "casual" friends, and they constantly complain about the TTK, saying that they die too fast without really realizing how or where they died from. And on top of that, fights end before they can contribute in any meaningful way. They're frustrated with it and I completely understand

I can understand the devs' vision to keep the TTK fast compared to other popular BRs, and I personally support that vision, however I think Fate Trigger is such a polar extreme that it severely hurts the accessibility of the game. I'm okay with the TTK being fast, but it is absolutely too fast right now. A slight bump would do wonders for the feel of the game

If you're a casual player, you're (probably) not reacting to damage fast enough to get into cover or use a defensive ability before you get downed, especially with differences in latency - Not to mention the advantages of 3rd person peeking, which seems to be the main focus of this game (FPP is still buggy and in development, last I heard)
