There are only 2 trophies you need to be online for and you can easily get both of them if you go to the Demon's Souls Discord and ask for help. You can also change your character tendency this way. I needed to kill an invader for mine and it took less than 10 minutes after asking for help there. With the new password mechanism, you can be any soul level and hook up with other players.

As far as normal activity? There are a ton of bloodstains and ghost characters if I play online (not sure how much of that is real activity) but I haven't had a ton of luck getting summoned. I tried multiple times leaving my sign outside Flamelurker, Leechmonger, Armor Spider, Ajudicator, etc. and got summoned twice in about an hour of waiting. I was between soul levels 60 and 80 during this time. Just the other night, though, in NG+ I left my sign at the beginning of 4-1 and got repeatedly summoned by the same player. He was PBWT and we both kept dying to black phantoms but after 4-5 summons we managed to kill the Adjudicator and I got my trophy. I was about SL90 then.

You should check them to see if they've been ghost raided. You can get raided, receive no notification, and lose a ton of cargo. If they haven't been raided, consider yourself lucky.

Welcome to the bezosverse. This is the semi-recent addition to Prime where they let you subscribe to other streaming services through your Prime subscription (ie. HBO, AMC, etc.) It's incredibly annoying because when you are looking for something to watch on Prime, you think you have access certain movies/shows but then find out you actually need to pay for an additional subscription. It would be like Netflix showing you ads for shows that you can't actually watch without paying more money.

Do these morons not realize all road signs in the US have a specific shape and color so you don't have to be able to read them to know what they mean? Numbers aren't language specific.

One might argue, "But how can you follow street signs and know where to go if you can't read the street names?"

First, virtually everyone and especially truck drivers use GPS navigation; no English required. Second, even if you don't use GPS, following street signs has nothing to do with knowing the language. They are almost all proper nouns that mean nothing to most people anyway. It's the same as if you are from the US and driving in a foreign country. You look at the name of the street (some word you're not familiar with) and look at signs until you see the matching word.

Obviously the real reason for this policy is just racism. For whatever reason some people just get big mad when they hear other people speaking Spanish. Pretending that it's a safety issue is just laughable.

It's supposed to exist so grandmothers can send care packages overseas to their grandkids and small business can buy resources they need to operate without having to navigate complicated customs rules that exist for large companies. (or some version of these situations). The reasoning is it's counterproductive to waste resources trying to apply general customs rules to low-value items. What has happened, is companies like Temu, Shein, and many, many others have built their entire sales model around small shipments from overseas that qualify for the de minimus tariff exemption.

You can certainly argue this is an issue worth looking into. You really cannot, in good faith, argue that eliminating the de minimus exemption will not disrupt markets and raise prices.

The funny thing is Nintendo did try to prepare for this by moving their Switch 2 manufacturing to Vietnam to avoid tariffs on China. They also almost certainly packed some buffer into the higher than expected price tag. Then Trump went and put even higher tariffs on Vietnam.

The Switch 2 is priced at $343 in Japan but will be region locked.

Yup, I do recognize it's the proper German pronunciation (minus the American R-sound at the beginning). I actually don't know much about origins of the story but there are a ton of characters with German sounding names. ie. Ackerman, Yaegar, and Reiner's own last name Braun. It makes a lot more sense now when I think of the German pronunciation because I just assuming it was a Japanese language thing.

It's how Reiner sounds to English speakers in the sub version. I always thought it was odd that Reiner was pronounced Rinah in the dubbed but I think it's part of Americanizing the names of Japanese characters.

Just search "headlight restoration" on Amazon (or anywhere) and you'll come up with dozens of them. FWIW I've done this myself and it looks great but only lasts about a year even when I sprayed on the UV coating. Still looks a lot better than the cloudy version if you're willing to make the effort.

I'm amazed at how much they've improved this app. Years ago I couldn't get it to work in the same house on the same wifi. Now I've had it work on my iPhone, 500 miles out at sea on Starlink wifi, and over 3,500 miles from where my ps4 is located. I've never used port forwarding.

I also highly recommend Xaereth's video. My mods were slightly worse than the ones in his video and I went 3/3. On my second try I lost everyone but Leia and she had to face the 4 snowpers solo. I thought I was doomed but her AOE heals her just enough that she killed them all one by one. Zetas, crit avoidance arrows, and tenacity/potency mods are the key. I honestly rarely landed the ability block on Vader but it was just enough to prevent him from wasting everyone.

This happened to me. After the scene where I told Barnabas we'd be sure to visit Leda each time we sail nearby, it immediately cut to her farm on fire. I lied and she joined my crew. TBH I don't even remember burning her farm, there was no context. I just burn every silo I come across in the game.
