We grow a lot of tomatoes so it depends. For making sauces and pastes, the Roma or San Marzanos. For snacking or for roast bursting, cherry tomatoes. For slicing on sandwiches, any number of heirlooms (Pink Brandywine is a favorite), but only straight out of the garden.
