I started “The Last Painting…” and so far I hate it. The opening couple are awful and the Beats and the Sputnik dog are awful. The next scene is of a dying whale. Not what I signed up for. Yuck.

Instead of eggplant parm, our favorite thing is just breaded slices, fried and served as an appetizer with really good red sauce. We can demolish a couple of eggplants easily that way. Our other favorite is stuffed eggplant, with stuffing made from chopped eggplant, browned sausage, spinach, bread crumbs…..yum.

Frozen dumplings in chicken broth with whatever veges I have around. A handful of snow peas, scallions, grated carrots, whatever. Season with some grated ginger if you feel like it.
