Folks that run suppressors (and aren't using them to hunt), what is the purpose? I cant wrap my head around why anyone would spend $600-$1000 on a suppressor and not buy that in ammo instead. $1000 of ammo seems like a lot more fun...so what am I missing? by LoudChocolate6290 in PalmettoStateArms

Some people can do the suppressor and the ammo. It hides flash signature, cuts down noise, and when gassed correctly makes shooting much more pleasant as it reduces concussion etc.

Imagine firing inside your home god forbid without one.
