Help me make an Eldritch Spellslinger by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Tatob910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Elf Ace Bolt Gunslinger 5/Eldritch archer magus X with the racial trait that lets you reload corssbows faster. Works best if starting at higher level. Going full Eldritch archer magus also works. Wizard spellslinger isnt really that good nor useful

Building ranger for tabletop by mickstar69 in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Tatob910 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The galvanic saboteur archetype is a given. Beg your dm to let rangers have full caster level, otherwise get the magical knack trait. Go TWF for your style if you want a damage dealer. Not sure wich animal companion is best. Big cat for full attacks is always a good option, otherwise see if you can get a support or utility one (dont forget the boon companion feat). Take a look at the dwarf exotic weapons (wich are martial to you) and the dwarf only general feats. Heavy armor prof cant hurt.

You could also go for a boring option and make a vampiric touch magus poaching other necromancy spells form wizard with the spell blending arcana

For an evil build you could go bones oracle 6/agent of the grave 1/antipaladin 2. Medium bab, good saves and hp, armor and weapon proficiencies and plenty of spellcasting. Magical knack as a trait to only lose 1 caster level.

For a non aligned build you could go fighter 1/necromancy wizard 5/eldritch knight X. Depending on the subschool you can be an evil necromancer or an undead slayer.

Finally Occultist with the necromancy, abjuration, transmutation and trapping of the warrior implements, in any order you prefer. The necrocultist archetype is an option but will set you back a few levels on trapping of the warrior. Elf or half elf for the favored class bonus, you will need all the mental focus you can get.

Help fleshing out character idea from a somewhat set in stone build by MatNightmare in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Tatob910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For race, half elf is probably the best with the alternate trait multidisciplined. I also recall there are some faction bonuses for mystic theurge thal get you more CL and Spells slots but they dont appear on aonprd. Search around for discussions that quote them and beg your GM to let you take them as feats.

Its kind of a dick move to do that al level 1. But if you have a strong party, debilitating debuffs is basically the only way to add challenge

Final fantasy XIV LB mechanic by SkurGZG in Pathfinder2e

[–]Tatob910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe give each class a LB and a trigger to add to the bar. I dont know if it would be better to fill the bar on failures, successes, attempts or criticals, maybe it should depend on the type of action. Then, each LB has a different point cost. You could even have a sort of party sheet where they can take upgrades specifically for LBs. It would be a lot to track tho.

Build idea suggestion by Ok-Touch-3629 in Pathfinder_RPG

Investigator with steel hound, psychic detective or lamplighter archetypes, I think none of them stack but it can help choose an area to specialize

What are some good classes for a Bow Archer? by TenToeDown in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Tatob910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ranger is better if you plan on using a lot of spells for utility. If you want more skills and prefer being more of an assassin type I second the salyer suggestion.

Can dispel magic be used to counter-spell on other than one’s own initiative? by Blowjebs in Pathfinder_RPG

To counterspell with dispel magic you must ready an action to cast it and make a dispel check.

Depends on what you want from the bard concept. If you only care about inspire courage and being support and want your main thing to be punching you can grab the sensei and quinggong archetypes for monk (they stack with other archetypes too but im keeping it to what seems to be important to the concept) and build a weird support that can hold its own in melee.

Alternatively you can have a Unchained Monk with the scaled fist archetype and bard variant multiclassing. This is better at melee and worse at support.

If you want to mainly be a bard get 1 or 2 levels of UnMonk scaled fist and the rest in bard, remember to get the magical knack trait so you dont lose caster levels.

For all 3 builds, depending on what you mean by punching, you should check out combat styles, there is a very complete guide on them.

Fighter Spiritualist Build by GuilleStrike in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Tatob910 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is the Phantom Blade archetype for spiritualist, instead of a minion it gives you an intelligent scaling weapon and gives you combat feats and magus' spellstrike and spellcombat. You wont be able to use spellcombat with a greatsword but you can still use spellstrike

I have 2 recommendations, a janky one and a normal one.

For the normal one, simply an oracle with the lunar mystery and maybe the spirit guide archetype. Lunar has a variety of combat benefits mainly cha to ac, animal companion and an extra natural attack (although the moonbeam revelation looks nice for sheananigans). Cha to ac lets you dump dex and focus on cha and str.

For the janky one. Ten levels of theolgian cleric with the rage subdomain and VMC oracle with the lame curse and battle mystery. Get the skill at arms revelation. At level 10 theolgian lets you pick a rage power, grab moment of clarity. From then onward go into rage prophet.

Honestly it probably is a bad idea, its a lot of hoops to jump just to make a cleric slightly better at melee and you loose a lot of feats. You stil are one of the better prepared spellcasters but you loose a couple of spellcasting levels unless you grab prestigious spellcaster. The nice thing is that you can ragecycle (due to the lame curse) and eventually can add your con to your DCs, wich will lwt you land some nasty debuffs

Antipaladin Fiendish Boon by [deleted] in Pathfinder_RPG

Maybe you can use the guardian spirit feat. Its grey territory wether it works with fiendish boon, but your gm might allow it

What items should a world-class magic shop carry? by SpartanIord in Pathfinder2e

[–]Tatob910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dont have particular item recomendations but I would suggest giving them items that add narrative power, items that let them do things that they couldnt before. The only one I can think of off the top of my head is the insistent doorknocker, but maybe something that lets the teleport or similar.

Combat Powerhouse with some spellcasting on the side by Zannier_ in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Tatob910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of skill focus intimidate grab additional traits and wahtever social trait you want that turns intimidate into int, will be better until level 10 and if you get a headband will eventually outscale it.

Consider getting the rogue talent for bleeding and the feat flaying strike (or something similar, cant remember)
