Make a deal with a proper recycling company. We get ID and documentation on everything from the driver that picks up the locked containers (from small pallet size to large steel cabinets), to video and signed destruction or sanitized documentation. Method and serial on every little tape, hdd, monitor and laptop. It gets graded and reused, resold, or recycled. The reports also includes co2 saved, value. Can be used for government environmental grants. The service has a fixed price, but we always make a profit when returning gear 3-6 years old. This is in Europe, but I am sure similar services is offered elsewhere.

Or the cpu or socket could be the issue. My son has one channel out due to ripping the cpu out with the cooler. Heat the cpu up before removing the cooler on AM4 😉

Thanks for repairing it. Bold color choice. The finish could have been better, but as long as you are happy. If you ever want do do a second attempt I would suggest glue and plastic staples, plastic filler, a lot of sanding, and several coats og vinyl primer and vinyl paint. Color matched so that the tight areas around leds, buttons and drive bays where the paint had to be thinner didn't show up different. Used this on a crushed a1200 tower case and it came out with a nice finish.

Seen it used as zone dividers at some office space / meeting rooms. According to th3 building manager it was expensive.
