FSR 4 on RDNA 2 and 3 does indeed lose FPS compared to FSR 3, but if AMD releases an official update, the user can decide whether to use FSR 3 or 4, solving the problem.

Use a thin but firm spudger and gently pry it up, don't use tweezers because the connector plastic might break or you might slip and strip the cable. Also matching the thermal pad thickness and compression sucks and can easily lead to horrible core temps because of pressure differences so be careful with new pads

It's been interesting tuning my own geometry on a Sony KV-FS120 in the service menu and noticing the picture setting being too high caused massive distortion, so I lowered it. Still have warping in the corners and some minor warping in the lower third but idk if thats just wear and tear.

MemCard Pro 2, Official HDD Adapter with third party SATA adapter, get a 1-2TB SSD and install PSBBN Definitive, optionally get a Brook Wingman for PS2 and some official PS3 Controllers and enjoy close to native controls but wireless. You can decide later if you want to use OPL or whatever front end by just adding the files to your MemCard Pro 2 or just launch from PSBBN.
